You should be relying on your team mates for buffs (and applying debuffs to various enemies). ASF really needs you think of your team make up and not just try to rely on your self if you believe that "all tf/sf should be run on relentless you get a much better sense of teamwork its starting to feel more like the good old days of CoH, people running ahead as normal get pounded"
Btw there is also this from the patch notes. Very interesting that it was made 1:1.
Architect Entertainment
Added new conversion option for Incarnate Threads to Architect Tickets available at Ticket Vendors found in AE buildings. The conversion rate is 1:1 and can be done in batches of x10 or x100.
Verdict is wait till the issues of the first version are past. Installing a version 1.0 of a windows OS is NEVER something I recommend. At least not until at least the first 3 months worth of patches.
Pretty much this. Just make a toggle and be done with it. Screw HULK.
He's not even the first dude I think of when I think of super strength characters.
For me not more attractive at all. If I was going to use them it would be on low level characters. Not level 50s that are fully kitted out.
This change is kinda weird. A 50 who can easily make inf can just transfer the inf to their toon. 2.5 mil is nothing.
If the point was to make it more expensive to use them, 2.5 mil ain't it. That's really not an inf sink when I can make 70-80 mill off the market in one setting.
For a NEW new player they would never even know about these . . .
Yeah not getting what this change is targetting.
Good summary. I'd also add that folks learned how to farm on various other Pri/Sec combos also. (Some which you didn't mention above, but overall point is correct . . . pretty much anything was easier than fire/kin controllers as COH changed)
As someone who has worked IT External/Internal Helpdesk, as a Business Analyst, as a QA and QA Lead, you get used to having to dodge and weave as folks miss the bullseye. 😛
The market is a mini game. One that players like. Asking for radical changes to it will get radical responses for that reason alone.
Also the market as is is 1000 times better than the absolute dreck we had on live.
I would be VERY careful of them making changes to the market . . . especially since they've got it working well.
100 million inf is absolutely nothing in terms of cost. You can make that easily in a day of converters and simply selling what you craft on the AH.
If we are going to do this (which I think we should NOT) I'd put the price close to 500-800 mil per purchase.
