  1. My EM/Regen is at 50, loving it. Not as survivable as my /WPs have been. Maybe it's the build, but I am at, just over, 44% S/L Defense.
  2. So, is it the -Resist, -HP, or the -Regen Interface that does the best? Is the -Regen even in the running?
  3. Lacking a taunt aura, means the enemy is afraid of you. Having a taunt aura, means they think you're a warm cuddly wimp. 🙂
  4. Well I wouldn't be opposed to it, and it'd just have people doing +3 instead of +4 if they wanted the same diff.
  5. I wouldn't be opposed to it, but you only get one level shift on the normal content, so think it's really that big of a deal?
  6. I haven't checked out my TW/Nin (ENERGY MELEE!), but from what I've heard from a friend who mains a TW, they like the changes and from what I've read it's still top tier tier. High ST DPS still, while looking at the numbers 2 seconds off of clearing the test missions as fast as the number one set.

  8. One can say "This may be overpowered" and not be asking for a nerf. 😛 The question was asked. You can answer the question yourself with "These powers are not overpowered" or "these powers are not unbalanced with each other" Let's take Interfaces, I'm taken ones based purely on concept. I liked my Energy Melee/ using concept to have End Drain in the concept, but I'll be honest, that End Drain did nothing extra and damage wise, the Interface lost out to Fire/-Resist and I believe to Toxix/-HP. I can't remember where the -Regen/-ToHit one sat. However, I did use the -Regen/-ToHit on my Water/Time for instance, for a little more -Regen (Time being weak in that area anyways) and I felt concept wise it worked the best. Now mind you, when I say this, I can't do to much about those Damage Procs in IOs and look the other way there 😛

    Frozen Aura is a must. It's not about the Sleep, it's about that PBAOE Ice Damage. Though the sleep will help with initial attacks if you have no other PBAOE. If you do, it's still a PBAOE with... More Damage and Faster Casting than: Whirling Axe Whirling Sword Typhoon's Edge Burst Eye of the Storm Whirling Mace Faster Casting than: Spin (Claws DPA Loser) Thunder Strike ( Electric DPA Loser) Fire Sword Circle (Fire DPA Loser) Mass Levitate (Psychic DPA Winner) Atom Smasher (Radiation DPA Loser) Rending Fury (Savage DPA Winner) More Damage than: Lotus Drops (Katana DPA Winner) Dragon's Tail (Martial Arts DPA Winner) Loses to: Spinning Strike (though it's a Targeted AOE with smaller radius around target) Whirling Smash Based on MiDS damage and cast times (arcana time option) However, the real point is, you wouldn't skip those PBAOEs on other sets would you? Also, I left out the two teleport AOEs.
  10. Destiny's I feel tend to gravitate towards faves. Possibly for concept reasons. Could likely be toned down a bit for normal play at any rate. Interface, I'd like to see some new ones added, that allow me match up with concepts a bit more. Like a Cold Damage Proc. Not sure how even they are, as those seem to be pretty much 1 of 3 for most people (could be wrong) but I've taken the Negative Energy/Immobilize on my Tanker and Energy/-END for concepts, so I'm sure others have too. I have no issue with the crafting system. Would like to see more Judgement ideas. Like a Psy Judgement. Alternate animations for them would be nice too.
  11. Power Crash I wasn't to fond of myself. I would've preferred a targeted AOE like Spinning Strike from Street Justice, rather than a cone. Just didn't feel like I hit enough with it. That could just be my playstyle, I don't tend to herd. EA, I'd take everything but the tier 9. Tier 1 or Tier 2, pick your poison on EM. Many would also skip Confront.
  12. The build I posted has 32% Psi Resist. However, get rid of Confront, Assault and Fly and replace them with Arcane Flight, *pick a power* and Rune of Protection. What I don't know is how optimal the ST DPS of the set would be, as I haven't done the math on what I can get with it. Would have to wait for EM to be ported over to MIDs first as I'm not going to be the one to go in game and figure out those numbers there 😛 I'm pretty sure it's over 200 ST DPS though, just not 100%. Also, not sure if one would want to skip Power Crash (I will) but they could replace Soul Storm with PC and get Ranged Defense from Eradication IO set (think that will keep you at 45%).
  13. That Fire Melee/EA Build was using Fire Melee as a substitute for Energy Melee.
  14. I'm rolling EM/Regen! If I faceplant more than those other stronger secondary sets, that's what Revive is for!
  15. And I believe I made a suggestion earlier as well (Urban Assault, I believe I called it). However, as I looked at making a Dom, it just dawned on me how much more we need such a set 🙂
  16. I really feel Dominator's need a weapon set! Urban Assault - a mix of street justice and dual pistols! Switch Ammo - Load you pistols AND your punches with various rounds for a variety of effects! 🙂 Or skip Switch Ammo and just give it lethal rounds! But really think Doms need a good weapon set!

    How do you professional Dominator players go around using this power? Just for solo play? Doesn't seem it would do well in team play. Set Bonus mule?
  19. For Scrapper, I wouldn't give any +Crit Proc. I'd give it a DMG Proc. Same with Stalkers. And give them a +Resist All at the end of it. For Stalkers, same as Scrappers, but on the end of their set bonus, a straight +Def All bonus at the end of it (so it benefits all Stalkers equally). Tanker, yeah, I like the -Res Proc idea. I'm thinking a good +END Bonus or +Recovery Bonus at the end of this set. Brutes, DMG Proc. I'd give Brutes the one the Tankers didn't get, so it's switched up, so +END or +REC Defenders, a DMG Proc. ATO set DMG Procs are Purple level and I know I'd like more damage on my Defender 🙂 +5 Melee Defense in the 5th slot with +10% Recharge in the last slot. This I think would change up builds 🙂 Corruptors, a +Scourge IO. Let them Scourge sooner! I'd do the same as Defenders with their set bonuses. Controllers, a +1 to Hold IO. And throw some damage into that set. Throw some damage into the old sets. +Def All as the end Bonus on the set. Dominators, +10% Recharge IO on the end, so it doesn't get counted with the other +10% Recharge Bonuses, and put some damage into this set and the old ones. I just don't feel it would be that game breaking to for the ATO sets to enhance damage too. For mez's with no damage, then the DMG does nothing. Blaster, a +DMG or +Absorb Proc. I can't decide what I'd do for the end bonus on this one. I just know I didn't care for how it was with the original two. 😛 Mastermind, a set worth slotting the whole set will suffice 🙂 Give it a good DMG Proc for the pet. EATS, either another Form Empowerment or DMG Proc (seriously, it may just be my preference, but I like those purple level damage procs). VEATS, how about their own Form Empowerment IO, but instead of Form, it's a +BONUS based on Soldier, Bane, Crab, Fortunata, Widow or Night Widow Training.
  20. Well, I didn't think it was any worse than some other cones. As someone who's played EM before, I was always happy with just WH. I had my WH down to under 6 seconds on my Brute before I shelved it (EM/Regen...love the idea of Regen, it just doesn't feel durable in play) and now I can do that with more damage? Also, I think I'll have it faster on my Scrapper build. As of now, I'm skipping it. If it was a Targeted AOE, with the AOE around the target, like Spinning Strike, but with a better radius (8ft?) I'd be all over PC. As of now, I'm meh on it. However, others seem to like it. Also, it's not like I took Stun, so I'm not losing much.
  21. Have to say, my own testing of Power Crash is I didn't care for it. Now, my testing wasn't charting anything down for it, and I was just running PI Radio missions, however, I didn't find I hit all that many. I think three was my best, but I wasn't herding either (not my playstyle). Of course, I thought back to Street Justice and I didn't recall doing all that well with Sweeping Cross (which I got rid of a long time ago) and I honestly don't recall doing the best with Spinning Strike, but I love it's animation to much to care 100%, but I thought all that needed was a slight radius increase perhaps.
  22. I read it as those changes will be looked at again in the future, as for some reason there seems to be an issue with that power and going to Brutes/Tankers? Possibly in buffing Stalker Ninjitsu? I never felt Ninjitsu to be OP. It's well rounded. Defense Debuff Resist isn't there. Heal is nice. It's Endurance Heal is the nice aspect of the set imo.

  24. I never saw TF as skippable. With or without a mag 4 stun (and that was changed back in Paragon Studios)? How was it ever a skippable power?
