Bind to activate Accelerate Metabolism on movement
justicebeliever replied to Papaschtroumpf's topic in General Discussion
A macro could be set up.../macro GO "bind w forward$$powexec_name Accelerate Metabolism", /macro STOP "bind w forward" You would need 2 macros...and the first one might be a struggle because of the [space] in Accelerate Metabolism -

+1 Inf again...these are great...you should post more of the details in this thread so people can quote the parts they have issue/concerns/satisfaction with... -
Loitering Plea... how to contribute to easing traffic.

+1 Inf for the chuckle Pax... -
This a both a hysterical and helpful guide. I love the presentation, you made me laugh, and it was well written. I'd give more, but alas +1 Inf per awesome post... Two thoughts [*]You mentioned you can't teleport to the base with base teleporters...totally true, but you might want to add a comment there about use a Base Teleporter from P2W or earn it with badges... [*]Also, when exiting your base (not teleporting), you will appear in one of two spots, depending how you got there...If you come in with a base portal, you will return to the portal. If you come in any other way, you'll return to zone's SG beacon

+1 for this... -
No they are what the original devs put into the code but it was not ready for release yet. the Homecoming team just turned it on. Destlin, the Sentinel is a 100% a SCoRE invention (the people who do the game coding for Homecoming). You might be thinking of the Striker, which you can read more about here
-
I've get a nice shiny new sentinel to sell you...It's got very few miles on it, hardly been touched...Pretty much brand new... Let's see...well sticker price would be 500M inf...but since I like you, I'm going to give you a nice discount...Don't tell my manager How about we go halvies...250M inf...It's a steal... Wait, what? You want on of those used models? The ones with 50 levels on them...I can't in good faith do that...you know the mileage and all, the wear and tear...best go with the new one...but since we are negotiating and I like the cut of your jib...100M inf...But that's my final offer...

Here;s a good article in Paragon Wiki on how this works https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Signature_Story_Arc - go to the Reward Timers section Basically, the very first time you do a story arc, you can choose whatever award you want. Once you've played the story arc, a timer is set going forward, about 1 week. Each time you play in that week, you get an option of several rewards. Play again with in that week, and you can choose from the remaining awards, but not including the type you picked last time. Play a 3rd time, and you can choose from the remaining awards, but not the 2 from the last 2 times...etc

Welcome Back to Paragon City, voted by LinkedIn as "Best city to be recruited for a job". Everyone wants you to work with them in Paragon...the Circle of Thorns want you, the Council wants, the Devoured Earth want you, the Lost will love you...you'll be very popular... Seriously though...welcome back

Just hit 50, could use help with a build that's actually good.

Conga Rats by the way on your Ding! -
I like the idea of the 50% xp reduction for people who perhaps want to play through a whole bunch of content in a given level range while at that current level (since they could conceivably always go back and do it via Ouroboros). However, I doubt they would grant the inf bonus. I think it would be way too easy to abuse with the market. Players could get obscenely rich and artificially inflate the market for their own gain. Other than that though, I'm a big fan of playing the content as you are presented with it. The only way to get INSANELY rich is to play the market...there's not enough in game inf, even at 150%, that compares to the 200% XP once you get level 50 and turn off XP... In my mind, these reducers would work exactly like the boosters...Good for 1 hour in game, up to 8. So you can use when you want to slow down a little and then stop when you want to speed up.

Task force suggestion - optional death cap
justicebeliever replied to KaizenSoze's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Some of the harder TF's already have badges for this...No temp powers and no defeats... Lady Grey Ms. Liberty Lord Recluse 5th Column Imperious... Here's a full list of badges you can get for doing especially well on certain TF and Trials: https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Hero_Achievement_Badges#Task_Force_Badges -
It was a much slower grind back then...Personally I miss it...but i wouldn't ask for it be changed. I do wish they would develop XP Reducers that could be bought at the P2W. 50% XP reduction, 50% Increase in Inf. Not so worried about the inf part (but it seems comporable to what the XP boosters do)

Who is PK and is there a link to the project or somewhere to talk about it or look? Philotic Knight is the biggest poster on these boards... He's also a desktop programmer who has built out a few tools to players
-
I believe that both Cysts and Voids were removed from the game. There is mention of it in several threads, but nothing sourced (nothing on Paragon Wiki or the i25 Patch notes or the Homecoming Patch notes...

Well let the horse out, close the barn door, and call me behind the times...NOW YOU TELL ME?????? Seriously...thanks Blondeshell, this is helpful information and explains why the window is so buggy (it's a beta feature that wasn't fully realized and was still released). The only miss with this information (oddly enough, give your passion for maps) is the "Zone Event" location on the VidiotMap. That's the location of the Shining Stars, but not the Paladin...I know, because I've tried a dozen times to track paladin using that exact same vidiotmap and it always leads to exactly where the Shining Stars are...

Munki and Justicebeliever have it right. Munkilord has it right, of course. If we all take one thing away from this thread, I feel it should be this. I'm also curious to see if Star Slayer can keep up this post to influence ratio. I've already +1 one Star Slayer...but since you've reminded me of this important life lesson, +1 to you as well

How to earn Inf for your lvl 15 DOs and 25 common IOs
justicebeliever replied to Razia's topic in Guides
These are great suggestions! I haven't really thought about the first 2 at all. +1 Inf! -
You don’t see the difference, fair enough. But then we don’t need the change either, since the team leader already has the power to kick me. So why waste development effort on something I don’t see as fundamentally broken and you already have a solution for.
-
That's exactly what I was trying to say, but with less drama and more succinctly. The team leader has a choice on WHO is on their team - that's 100% their decision. The team leader has the ability to kick me from their team (it's very easy to), that's 100% their decision. They do NOT have a choice on how I choose to play the game...

Enemy behavior is nonsensical, absurd!
justicebeliever replied to Purrfekshawn's topic in General Discussion
Now I totally have the music stuck in my head playing the game...-1 Inf to you Extor... -
My apologies, I really wasn't clear. I think your scenario is true some times, and other times, it's because people already took out the Knight's Errant and then moved onto the Paladin. Since he doesn't spawn next to the shining stars, he can be defeated without them ever engaging him. Or I am sure, since Paladin is a Giant Monster, but DOESN'T have a zone event, people may free the shining stars and then give up paladin I'm fine with the current event, but I would love it if, if they fixed the glitches in the pop up window AND let you close it if needed...
