  1. Incorrect. The chance to trigger is calculated independently on each target. So if you have 5 targets, you get 5 hit-rolls. The range of outcomes is it can proc 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 ,or 5 times. It requires binomial probability to determine the probability of each of those outcomes. I can help with that. I'm assuming we're talking about Dark Regeneration? If so, I'll need to look up the radius and I'll edit this post with the answer. Edit: With no recharge slotted and no alpha that does +recharge, you get the following chance to proc on each target (independently). Prob = 3.5*(30+1.17)/60/(1+.75*.15*20)=55.95% So if you have 9 targets you hit with DR, on average you'll get 5 procs of ToE (50% of max endurance)
  2. It's probably not weird, since it's technically useful. But I hate being full on salvage, so I always burn what I have by buying every Base Empowerment Buff I can, even if I don't need it (resistance buffs aren't helping my granite tank). I tend to do this before I log off, that way I have room for more salvage next time I log in, and I'll be buffed and ready to go with whatever I decide to do.
  3. Were you the one that brought up more bugs with Interface Procs on Discord? If not, I recall that person also said the Confusion Proc wasn't firing for them. Something seems off with some of the debuff procs that should get re-looked at.
  4. I decided to try one time using/clicking Assault Radial. Got a time of 3:15 (324.5 DPS). Looked through the logs, my biggest Knockout Blow delivered 1260 damage. Pretty solid for Granite (pun intended). One of these times I should port the build over to Beta and give it T4 Musc Core, just to see the impact. Also need to plug in a T4 Degen Core (I didn't realize I actually only have the T3 Core, so no DoT). Edit #1: I decided to try it on Beta, with T4 Musc Core, T4 Degen Core, Ageless T4 Core, and T4 Assault Radial. Clicking Assault. After a couple of bad runs where I started thinking something was wrong with my slotting or possibly a stealth nerf to procs on Beta, I got the mother of all runs. My FF procs weren't firing as often as I normally get (my Hasten was barely perma), but the damage and debuff procs must have been on point. Beta Run: 2:47 (357 DPS) Edit #2: T4 Musc Core, T4 Reactive Radial, Ageless T4 Core, and T4 Assault Radial. Clicking Assault. After the all-timer run I just had, I figure I switch it up and try the T4 Reactive Radial. It has a superior DoT (25% stronger than Degenerative's) and figure some splash resistance debuffs would work well. Overall, it was good. Beta Run 1: 3:15 (324.5 DPS) Beta Run 2: 3:05 (335 DPS) Edit #3: T4 Musc Core, T4 Degenerative Radial, Ageless T4 Core, and T4 Assault Radial. Clicking Assault. Wanted to finish off my night trying out the Radial version of Degenerative. I figure I could leverage my Mud Pots by hoping I can keep the maxHP debuff up enough (despite 25% chance to proc) while also adding extra DoT damage. It seemed to work better than Reactive. Makes sense, since my attacks are slow. Beta Run: 2:56 (346 DPS) Edit #4: So I don't have to litter the thread with additional posts, I'll update all my times I got (past/new) in a spoiler below. (Updated 22 June 2020)
  5. I get that. Just surprised in a year's time you haven't leveled a defender past 17. The alt-itus must be strong. I play 2 characters, so level 17 was ages ago haha.

You bring up plenty of good points, but when it comes to the design formula, animation time plays no part. You would think it would, but it doesn't. Base recharge and Area factor do, though. Endurance costs also factor those parameters in.
  7. I'm curious how this project is coming along.
  8. Haha, I held that one close to the vest for some time. Oddly enough, I figured you also knew from looking at one of your Mids Builds with the correct enhancement numbers. Although I don't know if that showed correct because I fixed it in mine, or if you also fixed it in yours and I saw it.
  9. I already advertised this publicly in a different forum, so I might as well make an official bug report out of it. The Superior Defender's Bastion has 18.5% recharge enhancement, just like the regular Defender's Bastion. The superior version should be 25% stronger (23.1875%). Sorry proc lovers.
  10. Redlynne covered it above, but I wanted to quote/tag you so you'll be notified you have an answer. The first post covers what you're wanting to know, which is how to calculate a proc rate in a toggle: For all other Powers (Toggles, Auto, Pseudopets?): Probability to Proc = PPM * ActivatePeriod / (60 * AreaMod) *Note* This is not the ActivatePeriod of the power, it is the ActivatePeriod of the Proc Enhancement which seems to always be 10 seconds. That chance to proc will occur every 10 seconds and it will be applied to each target within your aura at the time of the proc chance. It doesn't matter how many targets are within your aura, they all have the same chance to proc (formula above). Since the ActivatePeriod is always 10 seconds, you can simplify the formula to be: Probability to Proc = PPM / (6 * AreaMod)

There's a lot they could look at with nerfing TW. The most obvious one is the design formula not being followed. Every ST attack is 10% stronger than it should be, every cone is 18% stronger than it should be and whirling smash is 44% stronger than it should be. So you could see dampening from that alone. You also have DoTs on top of the excess damage for your momentum required attacks: Follow Through and Whirling Smash. So that could potentially be removed. I have no idea what they'll do, but those are two obvious areas they could look. The next is to maybe add 0.10s to the fast cast times, just to slow it down a little. Make for squeezing an extra attack into Momentum while its up near impossible.
  12. Keep in mind, the buff lasts for 20 seconds, so if you can fire off 3 mass levitate within that time frame, you can reach 20% resistance to all.
  13. Quite the opposite, really. Tankers recently received a significant damage and AoE buff. Not sure why you're not seeing tankers around, but they're out there.
  14. Not sure how you got 6.5%, but Focused Accuracy is a Toggle that affects self, with no Radius. So the probability to proc is: Prob = PPM*10s/60s = 1/6 = 16.67%
  15. I will need to look over it some as I have never played Savage Melee, but I imagine it will be a lot of fun having Shield Charge and Savage Leap. I'm sure it'll become a fun proc monster. If I recall, Savage Melee works really well with procs, but I'll confirm it and get back to you.

Probably a Rad/TW, then? I don't know what other secondary would out damage TW with Rad Armor
  17. Haha, same here. This weekend alone I learned Hami-Os work while exemplared. I've been frankenslotting wrong all this time. And I learned the Tanker ATO proc doesn't proc multiple times in AoEs. Despite being able to stack, it works like Force Feedback, only 1 proc per cast but you get multiple proc chances in AoEs.
  18. @Infinitumyou are correct. You can achieve 90% chance to from with Buildup while being able to still fire it every 30 seconds (with enough global recharge and not too much recharge slotted, of course). Rage is like Buildup, it will only have a chance to proc when you cast it.
  19. It depends on how often you're able to cast Rage. But most likely, Focused Accuracy is the way to go. It should have a 16.7% chance to fire every 10 seconds and average 1 proc per minute. In Rage, you would need to have it on cooldown every 54 seconds to achieve a 90% chance to fire at an average of 1 proc per minute. To achieve 54 second recharge would mean you have 444.4% recharge baked into Rage (240/54=4.444, which is +314% added to base). So I would probably go Focused Accuracy if you always have it on. If you have Tactics and team a lot, then that might be the actual preferred option as it will have a chance to trigger from each teammate/pet in your aura.
  20. The values between Sleet and Freezing Rain don't necessarily have to be the same (but probably should be). But the AT mods should be implemented and I imagine they would be soon.
  21. I believe the Bleeding Edge was recently updated for Tankers.
  22. I will also suggest what has already been suggested. Reduce endurance consumption, improve Cloak of Fear accuracy. It doesn't have to be base 75%, but 67.5% perhaps? And let's give Dark and Fire Armor some Knockback Protection... at least for Tanks and Brutes.

Agreed, both of those are VERY strong.
  24. I actually see both Redlynne and Caulderone point in choosing where you go with the absorb and resist proc. Redlynne, you have set attack chains and if you're not planning to spam dragons tail, you shouldn't change that plan because of the proc. And Caulderone makes a great point that the Absorb is better thought of as an Alpha absorber, and having that while 16 enemies attack you at once is a good idea. In the end, both options are good, so go with whatever you think is best for your gamestyle.
