My first base, still under construction but I like how it's going so far.

I plan to add personal quarters and some kind of rec room to the left and right.  Plus I'm still playing with the lighting/sky.

 

Also, is there a way to add ambient sounds like birds or something?  thanks in advance.

Yes, you can add sound files, Lyris, there's a list of them  on the base builders cheat sheet, with a link to further sound files if you don't find what you want.

@Dacy- I just wanted to say thank you for your tutorial videos, the whole series really gave me a huge leg up on building bases better.  Even my humble bases are made better just from the stuff I learned from your videos.

Base ID: zero-7243 on Excelsior

 

You enter the ruins on unfamiliar asteroid. The walls look ancient. And the more you look around, the more things seem out of place. Where is everyone? There are secret rooms and tunnels borrowed out of the rocks that seem to lead back in on themselves.

 

An eerie mist and strange fauna surround the ancient, repurposed shrine. The only thing you recognize is an out of place Icon Tailor that seems to have been assembled on site. But how did they get it here? And who would want to work on an abandoned asteroid?

 

You finally manage to find a pathway through the dwarfing cliff side. The alien, magenta sky that surrounds you is suffocating. You have to take shelter!

 

Do you hear music? Where is it coming from? Are you losing your mind to these alien spores in the air? There hasn't been another soul around except those motionless Icon workers. Where is everyone?

 

((So this, like I'm sure many of your bases, is a work in progress. I've spent quite some time building this base. Since September 2019 at least. (well this iteration anyhow). There are a few unfinished areas and tons of random glass floors floating around, so please pretend you didn't see those 🙂

This base is on Excelsior. Have you ever wondered what Woodsvale was like before Eden? Well here's a view of a Eden city block at the start of the Devouring Earth Crisis. The city is pretty much in ruins, Nature's Wrath has taken up headquarters at the center of the park while multiple villainous groups have taken to the ruins of the city rebuilding their bases. You'll find Carney, Arachnos, CoT, and Clockwork bases scattered across the city block. The DE has done a number on almost all of the buildings, thus far Nature's Wrath has been able to keep them out of the central park area (for now). As the Devouring Earth come wave after wave the Nature's Wrath SG has built a fully functional underground HQ or "batcave" in the fight to protect the city. The base or "map" as I call it is built on original base plot with caves being dug underneath it. This map "base" has been treated as if it'll be used in the AE system allowing for DE mobs to spawn around the city block, so flying/sj off the map was not acceptable I've spent alot of time making sure everything was naturally kept to COH  map theme including map borders. The Underground DE Prevention HQ is accessed via elevator shaft from the Police Booth entrance. This map is H U G E and took (is taking?) a lot of time so it'll take you a while to look over the entirety of it but I really hope everyone loves it and finds it a place for roleplaying and other public uses (love seeing people use it makers the map come alive!) Useable npcs make up the parks inhabitants while all the normal base goodies are in the HQ below. Please enjoy this lil piece of treasure from me to you and tell me what you think! This map has succesfully been used for hide n seeks and will eventually be hosting a CC at the park once i deem it ready. Do with it what you will!

I'd been wanting to do a cyberpunk themed base for awhile now and Fortune City gave me the kick in the pants I needed. Love this base!

The Atlas Society's Lunar HQ (heavily inspired and influenced by ShardWarrior's stunning Excelsior moonbase):

The SG is just my kids and I, and the base is still heavily under construction (lots of landscaping in particular to do).  There's a 2-way airlock to get outside on the level above the teleporters, with two additional (entrance-only so far) airlocks outside the habitat.  The "elevator" in the central atrium section has a biometric palmprint reader that takes members to their individual private quarters (themed like rustic cabins to contrast with the base's relative sterility).  Future planned expansions include a "garden cave" and an orbiting communications relay station.

I have this base about finished now...  Still some fleshing out to do but it's presentable.  

 

It is my take on a space ship.  It's supposed to be a nuclear guided missile destroyer patrolling the solar system on a seek and destroy/attack intercept mission after the Rikti invasion.  I recently posted it on the Show Off thread if you you have any interest.  It's relatively small and easy to navigate.  Under 3500 pieces so far.

 

In any case love to have you stop by and take a look.  To really appreciate it you should fly around outside (/vis_scale 10).  The airlock is south on the main deck.

 

I dig it...but I'm biased 😂

Hi there 😀 My first base is the SG The Resplendent Rebels. Indom. The passcode is REBEL-7999. The base is a secret city constructed for Heroes and Villains. There is a secret cave entrance that leads to a large courtyard in the Neutral zone. The Neutral zone has several buildings one of which is a grand conference room divided into Hero and Villain sides. Above this room are portals leading to separate Hero and Villain areas. 

The second is the SG The Watchers of Whisper Woods. Indom. Passcode is WHISPER-8284. It's set in a cabin in an enchanted woods. Almost everything in the cabin is a functional part of the base. The animals at the top of the hill are the  trainers etc. I hope you enjoy and thanks for your interest!
