Resistance to lvl 50

Just wanted to share this. I got my Resistance toon to 50 without using AE. It was a slog, but they are officially as high as they can get without going to the lesser Earth!

If you're in Reunion by any chance, there's an SG filled with people like you. I got 2 Loyalists at 50 without leaving gold side. Even Resistance scum are welcome 😃

Not on Reunion, but glad to hear I am not alone. Just wish that Praetorians could slum it on Primal occasionally without converting...

Can't they go through the portal in Studio 55 to Pocket D and from there to the Primal zones?

I agree. Well, I kinda wish for more Praetoria content in general. I know things have been painted into an corner a bit with the incarnate trials though.

Pretty sure they can get to pocket D but not to the primal zones.

Canonically, Pocket D (short for pocket dimension) and possibly Echo Plaza are outside of the Primal universe - they exist in their own pocket dimensions created by DJ Zero, a Tom Bombadil-type character, similar to Null the Gull.

 

Edit: To answer your question, yes they can travel to Pocket D via the Studio 55 portal. They can also travel to Echo Plaza, along with the Winter Forest zone, the Talos Island Tiki Event zone, and the Harvest Atlas Park zone.

I never thought of this.... interesting concept at 50.  Your home is gone and you do not choose to be hero or villain so you have no new home to go to.

If they try to leave Pocket D into Primal Earth before clearing the Rift Enclosure, they immediately get booted back to Nova Praetoria.  The same is true if they use an SG portal to try and escape.

 

Also Ouroboros is locked too.  You straight up get told you can't enter Ouro as a Praetorian if you try.

Ah, okay.  My praetorians always pick a side at 20 (unless there's an open arc to finish) so it hasn't come up for me.  I knew they could get into Pocket D, but not that they bounced to Nova if they tried a primal door.

You can...for a brief moment, then you're ported immediately to Nova Praetoria. At least, anecdotally, that's what always happens to my praetorians.

Well welcome to the Team, @Zepp! As  @Six-Six said above, there's a whole gang of us on Reunion. Sure, we have other characters too but yeah, YANA! And it's not just The Praetorians SG here, the Hounds of Love have a subset called Yellow Brick Road dedicated to the same thing.

 

Ok, now that you've hit 50 there are still things you can do.  Obviously if you have a base you can use a Pillar of Ice and Flame to do any Praetorian arcs you missed along the way.  You can also scoot to the bottom of that list and do the Belladonna Vetrano level 50 missions set in Praetoria, provided you physically go to Night Ward to start them. Same for Emperor Cole's Personal Story.

 

If you can be part of a team/league that starts from Echo Plaza or Pocket D then the Cathedral of Pain and all the Incarnate Trials are open to do.  As is the Summer Block Buster. The Hallowe'en holiday events are as well but we've passed those.

 

After that?  Lots of fun in the AE!  Check my own sig if you're interested for several dedicated canon related Praetorian arcs.

 

AND!  If you've not already done one, the Seed of Hamidon event in First Ward!

If @Darmian doesn't mind me being fannish then let me say that their Praetorian AEs should IMO actually be part of the game.  You're Resistance so I'd start with "The Spark of the Blind" (Arc id 40403) , "Damnatio Memoriae" (Arc id 41140)  and  "The Eve of War"  (Arc id 41583), but the Loyalist trilogy is great too.

...and you have attracted the Eye of Praetor Darmian (aka Kameron Daniels in-game). A handful of few Seers are onto you by now. Every breath you take, every move you make, every cake you bake, they'll be watching you, no matter what shard you're on.

I am glad to hear I wasn't alone!

 

It is tough to level up Praetorians to 50 with little payout, but this community is amazing enough to come together and make it worthwhile! I did do it without AE (nothing against storylines on AE, I just don't want to be accused of powerleveling to 50). I will look at the available Praetorian story arcs on AE as I am working on leveling my Loyalist next.

There's a dedicated Gold side AEs thread on here somewhere.  I'll look for it.  And @Darmian's AEs are all set between Neutropolis and First Ward, so around 19-20 to 25.

 

PS, @Darmian, write more Gold stuff!

Out of curiosity, what did you do after finishing the First Ward and Night Ward storylines (assuming you did those) to get the rest of the way from the mid-30s levels up to 50? I am one of the Hounds of Love goldsiders on Reunion that Darmian mentioned, and I think I might have gone insane if we had had to level post-Night Ward without using the goldside arcs in the AE. Sure, SBB is great fun, but you probably didn't do 40-50 SBB's in a row.

 

If you do decide to jump servers, look us up on Reunion 🙂 Resistance scum are welcome  accepted  tolerated  allowed to follow at a polite distance behind proper, Cole-fearing Loyalists.

I upped my difficulty and used Cromwell and Lionel from 30-40 and the Fireball and Trilogy arcs from 40-50. (I replayed a couple of the missions several times to help with the level grind).
