  1. There was an interesting Star Trek (TOS) crossover with the X-Men. Can't forget the Scooby Doo meet Batman episode/special, or TMNT vs Batman.
  2. I mean, if you're getting to the point that the game starts feeling like a job or where you're getting burnt out, take a break or switch up how you're playing. Perhaps it's a matter of perspective, because for me, outside of a few NPC pieces I'd like to see ported over to player costumes, I really don't like the whole character model replacers...
  3. Record of Lodoss War is the best D&D adaptation, unless you're super nostalgic for the 80s cartoon...
  4. What would be neat is if you could do something similar to what the OP suggested, only instead of making it rain, a certain number of random NPC victims in the zone would grant their savior a little jackpot. There could be a zone announcement to that effect as well...
  5. The problem is I've been in instances where I was nowhere near the battle, but because my teammates were, it flagged me as "in combat", and I couldn't swap Incarnates...
  6. Y'know what would be cool for higher vet-level characters - an ability to swap alphas mid-battle or mid-mission...
  7. This has been requested many times. I would like to see its utility/effectiveness raised in a team/large enemy group environment. That being said, it also has some of the most potent effects, so would those have to be lowered to account for a greater radius?
  8. Sonic provides -res, which the phantom army can take care of, (since they are unaffected by buffs). Savage provides additional recharge reduction and reduced end cost, which can help keep the PA up more often. That being said, you also have to consider just how much of your time you intend to or are willing to be in melee range...
  9. Can you expand on this? Are you fighting level 50+ Vahzilok somewhere? Did they give them more powers, or just up their level with no other changes?
  10. I've run many a league, and it seems that either individual team leaders aren't aware, don't want to step on the league leader's toes, or just don't want to be bothered.
  11. I would love to see the league management options expanded so that the league leader can invite a person to a specific team within that league. Right now, you can either invite people to your team, or to the league as a whole, which may spawn more teams than you want, which in turn requires you to move that person to another team, and if you're trying to track broadcast and/or tells, it can add unnecessary complexity...
  12. I've notified Arachnos agents, who should be questioning that merchant any moment. 😉 So if infamy and influence can be spent interchangeably, then there's no reason to store them as prestige.
  13. That's just your rationale for how you think it would work, but obviously the game treats the process of going from being a hero to a villain, (or visa-versa), as making you just as heroic as you were villainous or just as villainous as you were heroic - i.e. your reputation precedes you. Either way, there are plenty of ways of getting info to your friends and SG-mates already...
  14. If we assume that there were no fees, would converting from USD to Canadian Dollars be an exchange? It's not a perfect example, but if we assumed Canadian merchants only accepted CAD and US ones only accepted USD, then it's the same. No Villain vendor accepts Influence. No Hero vendor accepts Infamy. Using Null to quickly switch sides does not reflect the normal/intended way in which ones switches sides, which includes an in-game explanation as to how that currency gets, you got it, "exchanged" from one to the other.
  15. Inf -> Prestige -> Inf ****IS**** an exchange.
  16. You can do most, (or at least a large chunk of), lower level content via the Ouroboros flashback system. Barring that, many enemy groups simply do not have proper members for the full scope of level ranges.
  17. So wouldn't the new use of Prestige be a medium of exchange, i.e. a currency? I exchange my inf for prestige, which I or someone else can convert back to the appropriate form of inf to buy stuff with at some later date?
  18. Yes, but it wouldn't be tied to vet levels - AFAIK it'd use the current Incarnate crafting system...
  19. Definitely against this. At that level of veteran status, the last thing you need is even more power. Maybe something like a few account-bound enh unslotters so you can more easily adjust your build...
  20. Granted superhuman grace and agility by way of the "Laurel of Athena" and an ability to manifest and project bolts of ichor via a "Crown of Hades", "The Lithe Spectre" delivers justice to evildoers everywhere!
  21. Thank you so much for the designs! I decided to go in a different direction, and ended up with this, to further emphasize her connection to the Roman pantheon:
  22. I wonder if aping directly off the default allocation of powers for an AE NPC built using your primary and secondary would be too good to too weak, (I'm thinking the former, as they usually only have like 2-3 powers).
  23. I chalk a lot up to how someone first experiences a particular genre - if you saw Flash Gordon serials first, then *that* is generally how you perceive space operas. If you saw Star Trek first, it's going to be a whole lot different. Similarly, if your first experience with Superman was an actual comic, then your perceptions and expectations will be a lot different than if you first saw the character in the Christopher Reeves films. I'd also imagine someone first seeing Batman portrayed by Adam West would have drastically different expectations than if their first time seeing him was in the 90s animated series or via Ben Affleck's depiction. Either way, anytime a person is filtering a portrayal of a character, be it as the artist drawing a comic or an actor interpreting a script and a director's instructions, there's going to be some crucial first impression that forever dictates what the audience takes from the experience...
  24. Just as long as people don't confuse him with Sea-man...
  25. What!!? You don't just prick your finger then write in blood, like Sideshow Bob?
