  2. I'd keep it at 17, but make it so that it was about 3x as easy to aggro extra groups of baddies. Maybe 5x Thus the team would have to work for their survival.
  3. The cap makes the game more fun for non Tanks. It adds an element of risk to what otherwise is a super easy game. A bigger cap only makes it more fun for Tanks.
  4. That's basically what I do. I have them on my bar at all times for runners anyway. You can have 300 at a time if I remember right. I never run out so they last long enough to keep stocked.
  5. A couple powersets are very good on Brutes. Invul for example. Tanks end up pegging the resist caps, So do scrappers at their lower cap. Brutes can leverage this. Attack sets with lower than normal dmg bonus work in Brutes favor. Also SS is probably still better than with Tankers, less advantage from Rage, but tankers gain no AOE distance on footstomp.
  6. That is a good point Brutes are very powerful offensively at low levels. Since Fury works right from Level 1. Better at very low levels than scrappers. Much better below 30 than tanks. Of course tanks defensively can say the inverse.
  7. SR is probably more powerful at 50 against a lot of things, due to the easy cap, slow resist and DDR But the level progression on scrappers is bad. Plus no End power. Willpower is so much more user friendly. It works awesome on Scrappers and the Level progression works perfectly with STJ. My first 50 coming back was a STJ/WP/Soul and is a lot of fun.
  8. Id argue COH has just as much Gear as any other MMO, as IOs In fact you have more gear locations in COH than almost any MMO I can think of, even something crazy like Anarchy Online It just doesn't spawn off specific Mobs
  9. I love those old zones and old Task Forces just for nostalgia sake. I'm glad we can go there still. I can see maybe why the OP wants them gone though, as much "time travel" type stuff removed is more narratively consistent, after all. Even in a comic book. Some people are a little more concerned about HD space than others too I guess, Though that seems a less important issue.

  15. This is true. This is the only subform where anyone worries about the Tanker's role. Because the game is simply too easy to need tanks.

  18. I think Ice needs higher Defense Numbers. As it is The Tanker scale Ice is not really a lot better than Brute Scale Energy Aura And Energy Aura was based on Ice >.< Maybe not as good AS Energy Aura of course. Because Ice has other things going on. But better than where it is. Something to make them more comparable before IO sets.
  19. Maybe fix that. Make them have normal caps, and normal nuke recharge. Offensively, they are like ranged-only blasters, but worse. And ranged-only blasters are kinda meh anyhow. Defensively they are pretty solid, they have good versions of the sets with some nice AT specific powers.
  20. What is the current rationalization for the AOE nerfs that Sents got? I mean I know originally it was to limit their power but lulz.

  23. Combat Jumping is superior to all the freebie powers It has an extremely low end cost, a defense bonus, and when you have it your movement is much easier when in the air.
  24. I'm probably a crappy Tank. I don't worry about whether the team lives or dies. I just GO GO GO GO fight fight, smash, kill and so on. They can follow me if they want. Or not. Whatevs. I'll taunt and try and get everything to attack me me me, but that's just cause I'm not worrying about anyone else anyhow. If the other players die, ah well. That's why we have so many wakies. Or Vengeance or Rez powers and stuff. I mean I'd like to care. Be all protective and that crap. But I don't. That's the deal.
