I understand all that. I'm not a blaster fan either. The Archery/Tac Blaster, just happened to be a blaster combo that I turned out to love. However, focusing on others, I need to respec her since the Concealment and Teleport changes. 🙂

I suggest trying Archery/Tac Blaster. Enjoy mine. Dual Pistols is my favorite blast set, but haven't gotten to enjoying it on a Blaster for some reason.

My guess is they count awakens and hospital runs as soloing 4/8 content just fine 😛

When have people made it clear they're not welcome? I haven't seen anyone go "No Sentinels!" on teams. Yes, they need improvement, but other than people not wanting to play them, feeling they're weak, I haven't seen any kick them from teams.

Needs some self buffs in there, so you shoot yourself. Or PBAOE buffs. Shoot yourself and it explodes on to the rest of the team. Also a summons in there. So I shoot a bullet and a stone dragon appears breathing fire at enemies.

I mained DB/WP Scrapper when CoH shut down. I soloed ITF with just Blinding Feint -> Attack Vitals Combo -> Repeat and Typhoon's Edge for added PBAOE and no Incarnate abilities or Inspirations used. And I don't recall Empower ever being considered better DPS than Attack Vitals. So, I would think if you can't do Blinding Feint -> AS -> SS -> AS -> Repeat, do the Blinding Feint -> Attack Vitals Combo for ST DPS. I could personally get away with just Attack Vitals for solo play as well, but I liked hitting Typhoon's Edge for the animation

Agreed. Lack of the knee strike is why I don't care to do Street Justice on a Stalker.

Quick Strike 1.056s Body Blow 1.32s Smashing Blow 1.452s These attacks are not slow compared to other attacks. Burst 2.904s A little slower than Whirling Hands/Spin's 2.64s (.264s slower) Focused Burst 2.244s Now this is the attack I feel should be faster. Concentrated Strike 3.036s This needs to allow for Critical Damage. Could use a damage boost and maybe a reduction in animation time, but not at the cost of more damage.

EH, WP doesn't have to be a really tough human. 😛 Can still be superhuman. To OP, I'd go...INVUNERABILITY! Officer Dave Speed made good use of Invulnerability as a cop, so can you!

I can give you an easy way to do this. In the LFG Tag, put "WST Completed on 8/12"

Been forever since I played an Ice Tanker and I don't recall it being bad once I got IOed up. I do recall still getting aggro ripped from me with both auras and taunt in use though, which I just found odd, but I was being sidekicked up at the time.

I had a WP/EM back on live. I was tanking Recluse in Statesman TF. Running ITF. WP can be made to be tough! While it seems to be skipped often, I'm one who thinks SoW (Tier 9) is worth taking on WP. I do believe you have to know when to click it, and last minute is not when you click it. With some of the new IOs we have now, I can only imagine WP being tougher (Tanker ATOs, +Heal Proc, +Absorb Proc). The only downside, I may see, is building to be tough on WP, last I recall, makes it harder to build for +RCH, for the attacks.

I've always been fine with it. Especially easy since people seem to announce they're about to run an unlock mission, so you can join in then. I've joined in as early as level 14.

But they lack the cool titan weapon looks 🙂 However, thanks for the info. Sounds like Gloom is not the way to go. Maybe Ice for the Hold (which I like to have for Hami/LGTF) is the way to go.

Was looking at a Dark/TW for concept, and I got to wondering, for the Single Target damage, should I be taking Gloom? That's the epic that fits the concept, but would Gloom with TW ruin the ST DPS? How is TW on Tankers? Don't want to go Brute on this concept, because I'm happy with my Brute. Dark Armor on Scrappers has no taunt aura and I'm feeling like I want a taunt aura with TW.

I don't mind it, but I know other players do, so I try to minimize it on my builds. I wouldn't change it or make sets able to turn it on and off (unless it's a new set that's setup to that). Don't want it, don't play it or use IOs to suppress it.

I see no point in a toggle on a timer, if it's a click power. The same thing is being done, except instead of a big end cost all at once, it'll be a smaller end cost over a period of time.

Claws/Radiation for the Taunt Aura.
