Edited the slotting on Energy Absorption. More +RCH than the slotting in Weave gave.
-
Yeh, Mids does. I was thinking of Wet Ice, which took away the Defense slotting.
-
Oh, thinking on it, I'd likely move the Steadfast +3% Defense IO to Icy Bastion. Don't lose much on Tough (less than 1% S/L Resist) and gain quite a bit on Icy Bastion's Resists.
-
Been awhile, but if I recall, it's Defense can't actually be increased, so it's more of a surrounded by enemies ability, rather than when 1 on 1.
-
A first thought I have, is I'd six slot Reactive Defense in Frozen Armor, since it'll give you more resists and more +RCH. Looks like at the cost of 2% Damage increase, but also get better END Use Management. Hoarfrost with Preventive Medicine (so move a slot from Health) instead of Doctored Wounds. Better bonuses with more Resists and more +RCH. I'd replace the KD Proc in Shockwave to the Damage IO. The attack does Knock. You have KB-KD Proc. May as well get more damage. I'd personally drop Physical Perfection for Permafrost for the added Slow Resist and Fire Resist. Put in some +5 with the IOs (including the RCH IOs in Hasten, to make it perma) and you'll help take care of more end problems you may face. Seeing as how you have Energy Absorption for End Recovery and Conserve Power, I just don't see it being an issue, especially since part of claws gimmick is cheaper end use. Speaking of Energy Absorption, I'd maybe replace the ENDMOD IO with the +5% Resist All IO. Putting in Permafrost also allows putting the +3% Defense IO in it, and slotting Unbreakable Guard to 4th set bonus and more +Resist. Teamed with a Claws/Ice Scrapper with my own Claws/Stone Scrapper the other day. They seemed to be doing really well. I hear Ice Armor isn't as good as other sets, but I do recall enjoying it on live with my Ice/Ice Tanker.

Really think the skin color choice of players would change based on it being randomized? I honestly thought it was randomized just like the costumes with some odd color skin choices on more than a few. I know I had an all black (literally black) random character more than a few times. I check where it's at on every character I make. Likely that a lot of players just change it to their own unless there's some concept they got going on. If you're saying you'd like to see more in the game, time to create your own 🙂

I'll post a build that I think is good and ask for suggestions. And hell, in Pylon Thread there's recent talk of a build not many may have thought of. However, I'll have to disagree on some thing. /SR so you know you don't have any defense clicks. Some builds may be tricky, but not all. 😛

You say that, but that's just a 2.508sec attack. Axe: Whirling Axe and Cleave are equal to or higher. Pendulum is close BS: Whirling Sword and Head Splitter are equal to or higher. Dark: Shadow Maul and Soul Drain are equal to or higher. Siphon Life and Midnight Grasp are close DB: Typhoons Edge, Vengeful Slice and 1k Cuts are equal to or higher. Elec: Thunderstrike and Lightning Rod are equal to or higher. Energy: Whirling Hands, Total Focus, Energy Transfer are equal to or higher. Fire: Breath of Fire, Fire Sword Circle and Greater Fire Sword are equal to higher. Ice: Greater Ice Sword is equal to or higher. Frozen Aura is close. Katana: ... Kinetic: Burst and Concentrated Strike are equal to or higher. Repulsing Torrent and Focused Burst are close. Martial Arts: Eagle's Claw is equal to or higher. Psi: Greater Psi Blade and Mass Levitate are equal to or higher. Boggle is close. Radiation: Devastating Blow and Atom Smasher are equal to or higher. Radiation Siphon is close. Savage: Shred, Rending Flurry and Hemorrhage are close. Spines: Spine Burst and Impale are equal to or higher. Ripper is close (which to me, means Eviscerate should be able to be sped up, seeing as how it's the same attack). Staff: Eye of the Storm and Sky Splitter are equal to or higher. Innocuous Strikes is close. Stone: Hurl Boulder and Tremor are equal to or higher. Fault is close. Street Fighting: Crushing Uppercut is close. Titan Weapons: Well, it's gimmick is slow attacks and speeding them up, so we'll skip this one. Mace: Whirling Mace and Shatter are equal to or higher. Crowd Control is close. I mean, if one doesn't like the animation, one doesn't like the animation, but it's animation time doesn't seem to be a bother for most sets.

2:37 Time with Claws/Stone w/ Follow-Up > Focus > Slash > Eviscerate (so DMG Proc in Focus). But this time I remembered to put the DMG IO in Slash. Did some more runs with the FU > Fo > Sl > Repeat, but that averaged roughly 3:15 the other times running it. So, I'm going to guess that 3:05 was getting some nice procs 🙂 Eviscerate had me losing the blue bar if I don't get some good procs with the IOs, but I am missing Portal Jockey, which I hope helps with that. Of course, others could easily replace Char with Conserve Power, but I like having a hold and it's a place holder for Stone Cage when we get that, for that pesky concept thing.
-
3:05 Pylon Time with Follow-Up > Slash > Focus > Repeat I waited for Follow-Up to recharge if the +RCH Proc in Focus didn't go off. 2:53 Pylon Time with Follow-Up > Slash > Focus > Eviscerate > Repeat No Gap. Tier 4 Assault Hybrid. Tier 4 Radial Reactive. Tier 4 Musculature Radial. I changed out the DMG/RCH Purple IOs in Focus and Eviscerate but forgot to do it for Slash (Fixed that now). Did this because, I didn't need the recharge and to help the Proc chances a bit (I'm guessing it helps with the proc chances to lower that recharge in the attacks if possible). Focus has Force Feedback: +RCH Proc for when going with FU > SL > FO > Repeat. Switched to Explosive: Damage Proc for when using Eviscerate. If I can figure out how to get extra Recharge without grabbing Hasten, by replacing Eviscerate, I'll give it a go see the difference on a gapless 3 attack. Hybrid not activated on either run.
-
I'm curious on this. You went Double Hit on the Hybrid. Instead of, what I'm told is the best for Scrappers, Core...for the +DMG. Is Empower getting you up to the cap or is double hit taking into account the procs as well?

Can We Have a Default Zone 1 or 2 Option?
BrandX replied to Zeraphia's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I'm not the big MSR fan. But when I run one, I go with Everlasting's MSR! 🙂 Really doesn't bother me about the RWZ and RWZ2. I would like an easier way of seeing if the RWZ2 has popped, because I can be annoyed by calls to move when I'm forming a ApeMage TF and there was no RWZ2 to start or even popped yet. -
I know. I know. I did get a 4:01 Pylon Time with tier 3 Hybrid. And the gap in the Follow-Up > Slash > Focus > Repeat. However, I did replace the damage proc in Focus with the +Recharge Proc.

Honestly, my only Dominator that I found myself to enjoy is an Earth/Martial Dominator and I didn't realize that when I made her build 😞 I would've said something then, if I had noticed!
-
Pistol loses the -Defense Secondary for Slow. Can't slot Slow Sets. Executioner's Shot loses the Knockback Secondary for Slow. It can slot Slow Sets. The same goes for many other attacks in Dual Pistols. Suppressive Fire looks to be the only one not to gain -Recharge/Slow with it's Ice Ammo. Just goes to Hold.
-
Then this sounds like we need this fixed 🙂
-
Which is what I would think as well, but the other pistol attacks allow the slotting of slow sets. Though, it says it does slow/-resist with Cryo Rounds, on Pistol. I figure Suppressive Fire doesn't because of the hold aspect, but I would think even with that, it could -Recharge and Slow like Ice Attacks can, but it may just be hold effect only on it's secondary effects. I don't even think Fire Rounds give it extra ticks.
-
Why doesn't Pistols get to slot Slow IO sets? It gets the slow effect with Ammo Swap as well.
-
And I love to take Void Core on my Dark users! 😞
-
My bad. I actually meant to say optimized anyways. But that's because I'm under the impression the Judgements all do the same numerical value of damage. Pyro + Extra damage being equal to Mighty + Extra damage. No idea if that's accurate though, but I figure outside of how the damage is delivered (Cryo being the worst) and damage type, it was equal number wise.
-
Not satisfying? It's what I picked for my Shield/EM and a few others. That nice super strength feel without going super strength? NICE! Took it on my Elec/Bio Scrapper too. Such a nice one to use and it's PBAOE! Though I use the CORE for the extra damage. Though, Pyro is a very nice one to use too 🙂
-
I love it on my Tanker. Shield/EM. Loved it when my tanker was Shield/Rad, but I didn't care for Rad, and Energy Melee fit the concept more (and I love the pom poms) but hated the old Energy Melee (because I knew the original so much). Shield/EM/Soul. Doesn't have Werners numbers, but I'm not sure if that's with Incarnates or not. I went Musculature and Assault Hybrid and setup to run ET (Slow) > TF > ET > BS > Gloom.
