I tend to use the Dynasty sleeves with it... I never use the fur thing.

I have... one Rogue among my Excelsior "bird-things". Huh. I'm not really helping the situation any. <_<
-
It was probably deemed "Not Sexy Enough" by the former costume guy back when it was introduced. <_<
-
No... but it would be the same design. And given the amount of work that some builders put into their bases, having Joe Anybody make a copy and use it for their own group might be a very sore point.
-
I'll also point out one other potential issue... though I'm sure some people would consider it a petty thing and so not worth mentioning. ANYONE can make a demo-recording of any base, and anyone can claim that the base in that demo is theirs. Some base-builders might not mind the possibility of having duplicates of their base design floating around, but I can imagine that there would be others who'd take that possibility poorly. The only way to avoid duplication like that would require some sort of "ownership" check and I'm not sure how possible or practical that would be.

Stalkers are Love. Stabby, hard-to-see love. Welcome, sneaky sibling. XD

Oh great gods, that Daeva Armor... *facepalms* And what did you end up with after all that? A gear set that was really only useful as a pretty skin for something better. Let's not repeat that particular madness here. It was the complete opposite of fun. (Yes. My Sorcerer had that nerking piece of crap armor. <_<)

I'd have to say no on this one, I'm afraid.... One of the biggest "selling points" of CoH is and always has been the degree of character customization it allows. Locking costume parts and effects like auras behind level-dependent content unlocks or grind-walls just isn't a great idea. We've been there, we've done that... and it was annoying as all hell. (Yeah. It bothered me that my Oranbegans couldn't have their glowing eyes until they were high enough level to run the aura-unlock, and my Rularuu "bird-things" couldn't have those blinky-eyed weapons they ought to have had from the start until they were 45+ and capapble of killing off a legion of Overseers. <_<) Going back to that world with any new additions to the game would not be a plus in my opinion. New badges? Accolade powers that required endless amounts of grinding? Okay... If you really feel like you need that kind of thing in your life. But not for costume parts. That has too much of an impact on everyone else's potential fun.

So, so many. 😝

Asymmetrical wings would be pretty excellent. Well worth adding to the Suggestions forum, I'd say.

Bio was definitely on the test server before shut-down. FlyingCodeMonkey (Mr. Coyote) was testing it with a "mudbug" scrap named Bayou. 'Ugliest little red spud you've ever seen... But pretty convincing as a mutant crayfish.

I'll always be sad about not getting that moonbase. 😥

Since I've gotten shark-bait to the point of working on his iToys this week, I decided to start another new one... a Dark/Dark Dom named Shuyet.

Those blinky little nut-jobs are adorable. Sometimes annoying, yes... But still adorable. I may be biased about that, though. Tav (one of my Oranbegans-) is, after all, still in the mail-order Wailer business. 🧐

Pain Points: I Can't be the Only One
Coyotedancer replied to Mr. Sleepy's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
The trade-off was that, originally, the Panther transformation also granted Stealth... It gave up some of its jump to account for that extra utility. For some reason, that Stealth was removed from the power in the SCoRE days, but the jump numbers were apparently never adjusted to account for that loss.- 3 replies

This. So this. Wailers forever, yo!

Dedicated Casual... I like it. 👍

I'd like to have the option of using the tails tuxedo coat on winged characters again. That option was only removed very, very late in the Live game's run, years after the tails coat was added.

Go with grace, Cyclone, until we see you again in the field of reeds. -
"Toxic" Community?.. My thoughts, feel free to add your own!

Maybe so... but like I said, I thought it was funny. I thought it was worth telling him WHY. -

Guess I should have just ignored BB's lecture instead of replying. 🤣 I just thought it was funny he was trying to lecture me on that particular topic, given what I spent my college days doing. Sorry to have contributed to spamming up the thread. -

You do know that my academic background is in Anthropology, right? (Historical Ethnology specifically-)... 'Have the economically-useless university degrees and everything. 😝 There are no absolute universals when it comes to human behavior, but some underlying patterns are reasonably well established. The fact that we're pretty typical of troupe primates in more ways than some of us might be comfortable with hasn't really been up for debate in... well, decades, honestly. That strong preference for in-group/out-group social constructs and for forming hierarchies within and between discreet groups that I mentioned? Social Psychologists figured that one out long before the evolutionary types got in on it. Anyway, a real throw down on the good, the bad and the ugly of evolutionary psychology and exactly how it relates to ourselves and our primate cousins is pretty well outside the scope of a thread about dealing with assholes and blow-hards in a superhero MMO. If anyone is really interested, there have been reams written on the subject. -
As far as I know, the devs here have never posted any numbers about the SO vs common IO vs Set-build question for Homecoming characters. It would be interesting to see how the situation here compares to the "people mostly use SOs" bit the devs in the old days found.

I was duo ToTing with a friend last weekend, and we were seeing a lot of the rubberbanding. There was a lot of "Damnit, Vampire.... Make up your mind!" 😝

Taking a Benadryl might help with the itching, too. It'll block some of the histamine reaction you're having to that evil stuff.
