  1. Well speaking on that topic, it's a fair bit of obvious that a large percentage of IOs were designed as crap just for that reason.

  3. Agreed. Personally I'd like to see powers like quickness, time lord, and agility as pool powers. It's one thing to make choices in a build it's another to have them forced upon you.

  5. Just about all the blast sets are meh. You have fire, Ice, sonic if someone wants to gimp themselves for the team. As an exercise to see how bad they are take the list of melee sets and their damage and secondary effects and then try to pair them with a blast set.
  6. I really agree with the analysis. AR and Archery were the sets that had non crashing nukes, and it's very obvious the sets were balanced with the nuke in mind. AR doesn't have aim, archery has a secondary effect that has always been rather marginal (even pre Invention System Hami Os rendered it moot), meh single target damage and the most resisted damage type in the game. On live these weren't revisited and it was a case of rattling player's chains as content.
  7. There's actually a Gatling gun temp power that could be repurposed. Don't know about the -res Orbital Ion Cannon reads nice, you could probably use the warburg nuke animations for it.
  8. Ehhh the next generation of hardware will fix it, pardon me I have to work on our next product.
  9. Scrapper once you have enough survivability to stay alive there's no bonus for having more, but there's never enough damage.
  10. Wouldn't mind seeing incarnates turned down a bit and traded for more build flexibility but doing builds is the real fun in the game for me. I have no doubt everyone isn't as into it.

  12. Really never did get the live devs doing that. They were going to sell ATOs no matter what, giving what was the most popular AT even better toys was just a what are they thinking moment.

  14. We disagree. The nicest I can say about the current system is it's much better than live. Live being like it or lump it.
  15. That should be an option. I can't see it being the only one though depending on the set that can be one heck of a lot of slots to tie up.
  16. I like the idea but I have to ask have the Oil Slick pseudopet / set on fire issues ever been resolved ? If they haven't putting in more things with similar problems looks problematic.
  17. Out of all the damage by damage alone classes blasters probably have the worst reward/risk ratio of them (Stalker, Scrapper, Brute, Tank, sentinel, Blaster), not going to be hard for them to outdo blasters. *IIRC best sentinel DPS (reported) is around 400 vs blaster 500 ?
  18. Personally I would like to see chance of KB/KD/KU either be just KB/KU/KD or something else entirely. There is such a vast gap in mitigation between it happening and having it be a chance of it's not funny. It's especially bad with blaster power sets, where the chance of is unreliable mitigation as well as scattering the mobs out of AoE areas.
  19. 30 degrees ? it should be at least in the 45-60 degree range especially after all the other nukes were improved. I haven't played AR since llive (except for some testing on justin) did it ever get an upgrade to 16 targets like all the other Nukes ?
  20. Well given our very large raids, the last thing I want on my screen is more stuff creating more lag.
  21. Energy Aura, can actually survive a couple cycles of damage. Even so that "Taunt Aura" adds +Recharge on a per enemy basis and is the sets status protection. (ducks before the nerf Entropic Auara thread starts)
  22. It's funny I always found it to be most annoying on squishies. The near insta kill from the flying swords and I am not certain but do they have a large S/L resistance made them really annoying. The blue flames ? just jump back and hit something else.
