Player2 Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 Updated the look for my storm brute, Cloudbreak, with some armor... and visited the test server to combine the Thunderhead aura with the Rainbow path aura. 5

I prefer my anthropomophized cat people like the Thundercats and TMNT.

Virtual Green Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 (edited) Made some modifications to my living shadow and local paranormal investigator, Detective Dusk (mostly giving him a fancier coat and a darker face) Edited March 9, 2020 by Virtual Green 3

Flashtoo Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 I don't have a character to use this on, but I've had it sitting around and just my luck - last night, someone joined my group with a bee-themed character who had no hero costume yet! It'll probably be adjusted by the actual player to match face and desired colors, but I wanted to show it off here as just mine, too: 6 Character portrait artist for hire, PM for details! EmmySky Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 My Strong Suit uses faction outfits for her costumes. I think some of them turned out really well, others, meh, need help. The Lost one might end up getting the Post Apocolyptic chest detail if it works with baggy top. The Clockwork had to go Praetorian style because I cannot make a blueside clockwork 😞 Haven't got her last three costume slots open yet, and not entirely sure what they'll be, maybe Malta and or Council, generally things I enjoy fighting. (Someone on discord made reference to some help I requested there a few weeks ago making the Lost outfit, so I thought I'd post her up here for references) 1

Might I recommend skipping the baggy top and going to Robes? Choose Tattered Martial Arts robe with both colors the same, and Long Tattered sleeves (and select a chest that fills in the slight gap below the hood). Combine this with the Tied gloves option for an additional rags kind of feel. Then add Post Apocalyptic 1 shoulders for the half-tire shoulder pads. Next, choose Baggy for pants and either Long Tattered or Shredded option, and Resistance boots to finish the look. Color tweak as needed. Edited March 10, 2020 by Player2 1 1
Player2 Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 (edited) Another way to fill in the gap left by the Martial Arts robe and the Hood would be to use the Vampire Frilled Ascot chest detail. This... Edited August 26, 2020 by Player2 1

That piece really NEEDS to be added as a helmet option. However, there are plenty of Lost that do not have that so your statement would be inaccurate. While they're working on it, the Lost fleshy hook hand should really be added as a Gloves option, also. If we can have a pirate hook, why not a mutated hook? Edited March 10, 2020 by Player2 1

I sincerely didn't have the guy in mind when I created Dusk! I just wanted to make a literal "film noir" character all in shades of gray and play like a hardboiled detective, which is still mighty fun to this day, too.

Professor Sad Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 I decided to make Senator Armstrong from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, and I think I did a good job with what CoX gives you, though I wish there was a color you could put onto your clothing/chest-detail that is the same color as your characters skin color, when it isn't a completely unnatural skin color like pitch black or purple. 2

EmmySky Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 Okay MSS got a new costume. She is now also a Sky Raider 😄 my reference piccy from paragonwiki: Wrong gloves, wrong face detail, wrong patterns for top and bottom. But, I nailed the boots! I think the backpack sells it 😄 3
RikOz Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 (edited) Here's a character revived from live in name only: "Missy in Action" "Miss Action", a Psionic Melee/Super Reflexes brute: The last costume is her "club" outfit - I typically use the 7th costume slot for my characters' "civilian" clothes. Oubliette_Red Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 I wish we had more of the Mender parts, but here is what I could do with what we have available. Unmended - Time/Psionic Defender that was driven insane by repeated time shifts. 7 Dislike certain sounds? Silence/Modify specific sounds. Looking for modified whole powerset sfx? Check out Michiyo's modder or Solerverse's thread. Got a punny character? You should share it.
Player2 Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Ahh yes, I remember when we got Ouroboros and everyone started creating their own menders. Unmended is interesting, though. What's her deal? Is she a rogue Mender, or a Mender turned bad? Perhaps she just opposes everything Ouroboros stands for?

Virtual Green Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 @Oubliette_Red Love your Mender! She's truly timelessly frightening. Which reminds me of my own Ouroboros-related baddie, Chronin, a rogue Mender from Medieval Japan trying to establish a timeless criminal empire in the Rogue Isles. (Ninja/Time MM) 11
