This happened to me tonight:

 

When you start a TF and you can't enter any doors for missions.  You try logging out and back in, but it never lets you enter the missions.  The team is nearly done with the TF and after everyone on the team has  been throwing out ideas all throughout, you finally realize you were still on an AE mission when you started the TF, but the game let you start a TF, anyway.

when you target a Sapper, hit your version of build up, run up, hit him with your highest damage attack (and if necessary finish him off with another) only to be hit by the Sapper you’ve just run past.

I'm convinced that there's a "wrap-around" bug with Aim/Build-Up that causes this maddening effect.  Wrap-around is when one exceeds a given range and it becomes a negative value, instead. 

 

The original Tetris for PC had this bug: the high score was capped at 8-bit maxInt, so when you played well enough to get past that value, your score actually decremented back down to 0 as you continued playing.

 

I think that if Aim/Build-Up pushes your +ToHit over the cap, it actually pushes it into a negative value (or is interpreted as such), and you're guaranteed to miss, because your ToHit is now less than 0.  Every time I hit Aim, Build-Up, and snipe, I always pray: "please don't miss, please don't miss, please don't -- G*D*IT!"

That feeling when you're really sleepy, but just want to get to a Day Job location to park your character and log off.  So you set yourself to auto-run/auto-jump/fly and sort of doze off . . . only to wake up again and find that you had been AFK for 20 minutes and auto-logged off.

A previous version of Civilization had this.  Every NPC ruler had a hostility rating from 1 to 255.  If your government type was democracy, they tended to be more friendly towards you and subtracted 2 from their hostility.

Gandhi started with a rating of 1.  Subtract 2 and it became 255 and he became more violent than Genghis Khan.
