If Echo: Galaxy City disappears, how will the changes to Accolade requirements be handled in terms of Exploration and History badges?

Echo: Galaxy City isn't going anywhere. The only thing that is changing is we're losing access to the Galaxy City teleport base beacon. You can still access Echo: Galaxy City through the portal at the rear of Ouroboros, which is now accessible at level 1.

Cool,  GC had always been my choice of starting point back in the day.  I didn’t really want to see it go.

Fill every jail cell in The Zig during your life as a hero, before becoming a villain and releasing Bile during "The Freakish Lab of Dr. Vahzilok" story arc

Unsure what this means exactly..

Does this involve arcs we should have completed as a hero, and will they count towards filling the zig if done as flashbacks, or is it something else entirely? 0.o

Noticed its 1000 Jaegers, those are minion class.  So its like upwards of 450,000 to 500,000 damage to complete against a really annoying faction.

Rikti monkey badge is 1000 , are underling class.  Level 50 in PI on the island are 175 hps, EZPZ kill and 175,000 damage to complete except when you get hit by a bunch at once .  And not as annoying to kill like Nemesis.

Jaeger count should be no more then 500, even if its a common spawn; 1 LT going down and its just not a fun moment when those rainbows light up.

And is there Rikti Drone badge ?

I'm liking that Kallisti Wharf is finally getting an Exploration badge, if only one so far.

*poke* (and I feel bad about this because you guys are doing such great work) But there are seven blank plaques in KW just waiting for a History badge.

I reckon one of them should be dedicated to the memory of Ezra Cole.  And you know where that one is.  The rest?  Who can tell?

If they have anything planned for adding story content to KW, they may be holding off on adding all the badges and plaques until they finalize the story. It would suck if they wrote stuff now and then realized later down the line that some of it had to be changed for story reasons. Adding just the one badge is probably for the Teleport accolade, and I imagine the one they chose to add in is the one that's least likely to need to be changed down the line.

I'm fine with 1000.  They spawn in groups all over PI so you can pick off grey-cons, or team up to farm the best Jaeger-farming mission which I'm sure someone has already figured out.

250 Sappers on the other hand...yes, they're minions, but they're limited to a maximum of one per spawn and Malta street spawns are rare.  So that's a lot of Malta missions.  I feel like this one should be 100.

Assault and Battery seems cool; I am looking for a replacement for Midnight Bomber, but I have yet to see something along those lines (to me at least). I guess this one would work, but super stunners are hard to find? Suggestions on where to find them?

This is correct. This first one was added to allow you to unlock the zone for LRT.

On the one hand: new badges? Cool.

On the other: defeat badges with such high numbers isn't fun. I know most people are assumed to get them by doing a bunch of content and getting it eventually, but even then, 250 sappers? 1,000 Jaegers? Let's say theoretically you wanted to purposefully get those badges. The time investment is just not fun, and the existing badges aren't all that punishing. Weatherman badge is just 100 outcast bosses, for instance. Why make SO many sappers, so many natterlings, etc etc etc?

Please consider that this won't enhance anyone's fun, and will instead just add time to people who hunt them down when you don't even have the usual MMO reason of wanting to elongate sub time! 🙂

Like @Glacier Peak just said, and folks over in https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/11935-give-us-grindy-stuff-like-vanguard-and-costume-unlocks-back/

Apparently there's a call for grind.

Until the Devs can come up with some other grindable content that is more playstyle non-partisan, I'm certainly willing to concede some ridiculous Badge requirements to the grind-fiends.

If people want a grind they can always chase veteran levels.

There are fun grinds, and there are boring grinds.

Kill 1000 jaegers is the very definition of wasting time to make one number go a little higher. I'll do it if I have to, but there are a lot of better ways someone could make a "do x things" badge than these, and I'll stand by that.

Fair enough, agree to disagree. Playing the game is fun for me, I count grinding as playing so we are of different, but no less valid opinions.

And I'll stand with you, honestly.

I'm just saying that the players who are chomping at the bit for grind are in need of a bone thrown to them right now.

. . . if for no other reason than to keep them away from turning costumes in to grindable unlocks.  (I kid!   Mostly . . . please don't grind me to death, grinders!)

I'm thrilled we're getting more badges added. 1,000 seems a bit steep for the jaegers, but it's not a required badge for powers/ abilities, so why rush it? Heck, if previous defeats counted for the badge I'd think many would have it already through normal game-play.

RE: Womp Womp

By my calculations, I have to do the new redside arc 10 times to get this badge, as the "Immature" PPs only spawn as an ambush during one fight. It doesn't seem to include 7th gen PPs.

That's... a bit much. Unless they're gonna be making appearances elsewhere, I think "forcing" badgers to farm out the same mission 10 times is a bit redonk. Like, all the other enemies can be found elsewhere and you can gain the badges naturally. But this one? UGH. Not looking forward to this one on Live!

There are now five waves of IPPs and they will always spawn when Fuzzy Lumpkins is at 25% health. They are not programmed to overwhelm, so they should be waiting until the previous wave drops before spawning another. Each wave has unique dialog now, for additional moral ambiguity,
