  2. Which is precisely why I find it absurd when folks claim there is better teaming in other games than this. Having played many of the numerous modern mmos (and some ancient ones) they and I DISAGREE.
  3. As notoriety option would be intriguing. I'd use it once in a while just to see which of the set bonuses would be removed from my character randomly from time to time. 🙂

  5. Or how about we don't waste anyone's time. At this point we all might as well agree to disagree. The HC devs seems to not want to make any massive game breaking changes. I'm fine with that. If that ever changes I'll take my own advice and go to another server for good. No harm no foul. (I'm sure others will also).
  6. This what it pretty much boils down to every time this thread comes out. "I don't want to change my playstyle or form my own teams for whatever reason, but I'd sure like to control how everyone else plays" . . .
  7. This is actually a great idea too. Simply porting that over to regular content would add more options to the notoriety system.

  9. Yeah some folks fail to mention that these incarnate powers TURN OFF also. Reading some of the posts on these forums you'd think that Judgement can be used all the way in down in the HOLLOWS if you exempt down. LMAO.

  11. Multiple people who say they want the game harder have also asked for rewards to match. Not sure how many you'll get to agree with you on number 1. just saying. I agree with number 2, and for the record would be fine with number 1.
  12. I've seen multiple people who complain about level shifts FAILING to mention this time and time again. Thanks for outright stating this again. Let's see how many people continue to ignore it this time. LOL

  14. Agreed. Thankfully there have been more useful suggestions over MANY months (and some even this week) than just make everything +5 as the new difficulty options. Also, I've seen many comments where people actually believe making encounters take long is some sort of + towards challenge. It's really not.
  15. Pretty much. Folks forget that combat attributes and real numbers on the respec/build screen for example, were most certainly NOT always there.
  16. To be clear for the 1000th time, I'm fine with more OPTIONAL difficulty options that make the game harder for those who want to play that way. Add all the bells and whistles to those new difficulty options. Keep the base game as is for the rest of us. Also the devs should add in harder incarnate content and I'll even run with those that want that, when I'm in the mood for that. EDIT: I'm not fine with massive changes that could potentially drive off a large part of HC's pop and waste months of valuable volunteer dev time. This current thread for reference, is a great one of, what I'm referring to.
  17. We have one. We've had one for over a decade. Hence why to this day the teaming aspect of this mmorpg is often lauded over most mmos to date. I'll take the teaming here over FFXIV, WoW or anything else, any time of the day. I can jump on at nearly any time of the day and get a quick team and go smash some heads, without worrying if me and my buddy are the same exact level or have the same exact missions. (And I'm referring to the failure aspect of the successor to this game, Champions Online, when I specifically call that out.) That's pretty much COH. EDIT: And has been shown in multiple threads over the last few days in Suggestions & Feedback AND General Discussions there are like minded people who you can team with if you choose to. Hell some of them have already started to form SGs.
  18. People don't care. They are playing the game and having fun. That's all that matters really. If you're not having fun, there are options available. And even other servers available. /shrug
  19. More like the devs at the time didn't care . . . since they had a specific vision for the game. We can agree or disagree but it was their game, their vision. Not Arcanaville or any other players. That vision is "casual superhero game you can pick up and play with ease at any time." Not Demon Souls in a Super Hero skin.
  20. Sure if these are in the new notoriety options I'd be fine with that. I've always advocated that while keeping the base game traditionally where it is.
  21. I just think there are more folks who prefer to casually steam roll through mobs than are others who seek challenge. I base this on my experience form both live, on HC and the various forum discussions over the years.
  22. I don't know. Most of the pickup groups I been in since coming back to COH (since near the start of HC) has been mostly teams avoiding Carnies, Malta and anything else that could be challenging. /shurg.
  23. I would not mind if fighting mobs like Malta, Carnies at +4/x8 would have a MUCH higher chance to drop purples. That would DEFINETLY encourage me to form teams to hunt just them.
