1. There is a lot of information about enhancements, the emphasis on their importance is great, but it's all over the place and not concise enough. There are enhancement secrets that only come out through chat: Secret #1. You can only have 5 of the same enhancement bonus. e.g. 5% Accuracy to All Powers. Secret #2. Enhancements with the word "Global" on them don't even need to be activated. Secret #3. There are ATO enhancements that are perhaps worth buying (though they are very expensive) for your journey up to 50, when you can replace them with their L50 equivalents. Secret #4. Procs kinda work in Auto powers. Secret #5. It's advisable to get either +End procs in Health and Stamina and/or End Mods in Stamina. Secret #6. You probably need as many Luck of the Gambler 7.5% recharges in your build as you can (max 5 - see Secret #1). I can't think of more, but I know they exist. Please enlighten me! 2. New players aren't encouraged into the stories, content is rushed. There are many reasons, from Brute archetype having to remain in combat for it's core mechanic to powercreep to the problem of people not wanting to read text themselves, to groups not wanting to wait for someone to read text. Good luck with this Gordian Knot. 3. Some contacts are objectively more interesting than others. Perhaps new players should be gently pointed towards the better ones? In regard to some of the replies we've had above, I see a lot of people pushing back on changes to the game and always the same response, "I want choice, don't make the game more restrictive". I want to counter these opinions in the following manner: Groups of 8 ALWAYS fill. Nobody ever says "we are a 5 player group". Sure, we all have the option of maxing at 5, that's an option, but nobody ever EVER takes it. My point is that choice isn't taken when it's obviously sub-optimal. Who restricts themselves to Dual-Origin enhancements these days? That's why when I see, "I want freedom", I read something else.

I concur. I think it would be more fun with unique items around the maze so you can see when you've gone around in a circle. It's also hilarious to see that same bloody pot plant again (for example)!

It reminds me of The Adventure Game. I loved that show - at one stage they had a BBC Micro where you drove a little robot into a mouse hole and then you played a maze game on the computer as if you were driving the mouse around a maze.

If these enhancements aren't global procs, aren't they a gigantic waste of time and effort? I mean, why bother? I'd rather see things like Duration increase/decrease enhancements.

This is my favourite film. It's got everything, the 27b/6 that the supergroup registration form is labelled after, a renegade good-guy "superhero" plumber, mario and luigi. What more do you want? Terrorism? Unrequited love? Insanity? Obsession? Santa Claus?

Lots of advertising is key to larger crowds. I remember a costume contest that took an hour extra to start and got tonnes (metric) of late entries. Perhaps mention it to some of the Twitch streamers, even if they are on other (Homecoming) servers.

It seems to me that characters with bowler hats go well with that lamp pet you can get off the START vendor.

Staff Blast A blaster set that uses Staves and Wands, like the Nemesis Staff is used at the moment. - It doesn't suit only magic origin characters, but also others, for example: there are already Vanguard techno-"mages". - Choice of staff/wand costume parts. It could be implemented in several ways. I have previously pondered the feasibility of an overhaul to powersets that would involve choosing a visual source for your power effects (hand, pistol, wand, etc) at character creation. That would make this suggestion moot, but considering that it will never happen, I propose the following. Either; One powerset with lots of different damage types on different powers, or One powerset per damage type. This could take for years and years and thus is much less feasible, or Switchable damage types via a power like the Dual Pistols damage type power, "Swap Ammo". The downside to this, I suspect, is sound effects, which I don't think can change?

On Wednesday there appeared to be all manner of problems with multiple zone instances and zones on the railway list being locked. Yesterday, most maps, including Atlas Park, appeared to be nearly empty of players. Does anybody know what's happening? Is it just Excelsior? Is it just me?

It looks like a dump stat. I never go near it. Here's why; * What's the point of stealth anyway? I mean, if even a few enemies can see through it, it's situational at best. * I am not quick enough to stealth to the end of a mission before somebody else has already done it. * Why wouldn't I get a Stealth enhancement on a run power? * Superspeed has a Stealth component. * Any of my characters that have a stealth theme, take a powerset that has a stealth power in it, e.g. devices. Surprise surprise!

My tips are; don't worry about your build, group with people when you can, join a guild supergroup.
