  1. Just snagged the ATO to try it out. Slotted it into Gravitic Emanation. So yeah, it has a chance to fire on your damage abilities no matter where it's slotted. [07:52] You hit Possessed Scientist with your Orbiting Death for 18.2 points of Negative Energy damage over time. [07:52] You are healed by your Essence Transfer for 59.43 health points. [07:55] HIT Possessed Scientist! Your Dark Detonation power had a 95.00% chance to hit, you rolled a 72.75. [07:55] You are healed by your Essence Transfer for 59.43 health points. [07:55] You hit Possessed Scientist with your Dark Detonation for 92.65 points of Negative Energy damage.
  2. I'm implying that the Proc can fire on any of your Damage Powers no matter where it's slotted. Ex) Slot in Dwarf Mire even though you never use Dwarf. -> Fires on Shadow Blast, Sunless Mire, Orbiting Death... any of it has a chance because it Procs globally across all powers.
  3. The description in game says Essence Transfer "gives many of your damage powers a chance to heal." Does that not mean you could slot it anywhere it can be and it'll fire on most of your abilities? I currently have Fury of the Gladiator -Res slotted in my Orbiting Death with 5 Multi-Strikes (not my final build, just what I threw together in the moment).
  4. I literally proposed a Bulwark Archetype months ago (Support/Melee) and it didn't get much attention. xD
  5. Could we at least get a deploy-able "Wet Floor" sign!? Sheesh!
  6. I made a Human-Warshade and snagged up Spectral Interface to try something new and with the intention that it would keep my disoriented enemies planted still. Alongside the added bonus of Gravimetric Snare having a little bit more magnitude to play with on bigger enemies. With only the Tier 2 Spectral Core Interface (15% Immobilization Proc on most damaging attacks), it doesn't seem to fire at all. I see no combat texts, no visual/sound effects (most interfaces have that ringing yellow bubble around the enemies torso), and I just don't see monsters standing still for any time periods. I want my Incarnate Threads back 😞
  7. I could be wrong but I'm assuming they strategically placed the station at the door so as to get Lord Recluse stuck in the game geometry or they somehow draw aggro as a NPC. (An exploit, it would be considered in most games.) Set a flag so Crafting Stations can't be summoned inside a Mission. *shrugs*
  8. I have Hibernate on two characters and I have discovered some really irritating features about NoPhase and other Hibernation effects in general. 1. If you activate Hibernate and you get CC'd BEFORE you solidify, your Hibernation will go on cooldown and you will still receive the NoPhase penalty. 2. If you die while activating Hibernate before the solidification you will receive NoPhase. In other words, NoPhase persists even after resurrection or hospitalization. 3. You can accidentally deactivate Hibernate before the solidification and still receive the NoPhase penalty. 4. You can die while Hibernation is active (DoTs, -Regen Debuffs) and again the NoPhase debuff persists even after resurrection or hospitalization. For a tool that is designed to help rescue your character in a tight spot, it is extremely unreliable. You receive NoPhase immediately when you activate the ability no matter what the outcome is. I'm so frustrated with this ability. Could you guys please consider applying the NoPhase penalty AFTER solidification or better yet get rid of (or reduce the time) the penalty all together? Quite honestly I'm better off with a Self-Resurrection ability with this clunky functionality. Note: NoPhase makes it so you cannot activate your phasing abilities again. Even if your ability recharged you will be unable to activate it until this debuff is gone. Meaning having an ability like Hibernate recharge faster than the penalty is a complete waste. You won't be able to activate it even if Hibernation already failed you in the activation process (CC, Death, double-tapping) until the debuff has expired.
  9. It was one of my earlier toons on Homecoming where I didn't understand the differences between the two. As far as I was concerned at the time, OMG Crit Abilities are kewel~! My post still stands in terms of what the toon offers, just ignore the Archetype aspect of my post. That toon has been shelved after a dozen alt creations but I do recall having a fun time on it. Proton-Volley. I currently main a Poison/Sonic Defender so...
  10. You could also consider Sonic Resonance. It's very similar to Force Field but with a few more offensive tools. You will have 2 forms of "bubbles" to place on allies in addition to a PBAoE pulsing bubble you can visually see. Disruption Field: Ally-targetted pulsing PBAoE -Res effect. Sonic Repulsion: Instead of Repulsion Bubble, you have one that can be used on an Ally. Although Endurance heavy, you can slot it with Knockdown to turn them into a hamster in a ball. Liquify: Access to the Knockdown that acts like Ice Slick but with major debuffs attached to it. Clarity: Simply put, it's Clear Mind. I made mine a Radiation/Sonic Corrupter. It's enjoyable but I might suggest a different blast set unless you want to be a star-sniper like me.
  11. You could try a Pool(s) with Confuse + Poison secondary using Weaken. I recall one Task Force where a Plant Controller/Dominator was effortlessly landing Confuse on AV's. Which I suspect was due to Weaken application with a multitude of other debuffs.
  12. I'm lost as to what the original request is. Sonic Blast already debuffs resistances and, essentially, buffs it's own damage when strung with consecutive attacks. You can already use traditional damage-slotted Enhancements (Positron's Blast, for example) for most powers or use unique ones slotted into Siren's Call (Sleep), Screech (Stun), and Shockwave (Knockback), and I believe I use Fury of the Gladiator in Dreadful Wail with Obliteration. If you want a gimmicky pool that relies on Proc damage then perhaps Sonic isn't the pool for you. My main gripe with Sonic are the animation casts. I actually only use Shriek, Scream, Howl, Aim, and Dreadful Wail on my Poison/Sonic Defender because they provide a decent attack chain for me. I don't view Sonic Blast as underperforming. It's a debuffer set.
  13. It's not an issue of recharge. It's a debuff called "No Phase", you can see the silver buff on the top-right of your charcater. This does not allow you to toggle Phase-shifting buffs such as Hibernate. For what reason? Because they don't want you to use your ability too often? Who the heck knows.
  14. And I have it slotted on the Live server, on my Gravity/Time Controller on Dimension Shift. It procs. 🙂
  15. Energy Font can Proc off of Dimension Shift upon intital cast. Even without a target.
  16. Back when Homecoming first launched, I somehow glitched my character creation screen and had access to female costume pieces on a male figure. Unfortunately the game would not allow me to create this character. Please consider lifting the gender-locks on costumes! Thanks! 🙂
  17. Question about Power Boost though. Does it increase the magnitude of wormhole to transport high level enemies? I suppose the same question applies to Dominators.
  18. I wouldn't drop Crushing Field (AoE, -Fly) just because it's useful for fighting swarms of flying enemies. Especially noticeable in an Admiral Sutter TF. Ground all them sky raiders in 1 AoE, baybee!
  19. I just wish Contacts had their maximum level removed while exemplaring players down ONLY inside door missions. This would allow players to progress through content and not have to commit to an entire Ouroboros arc missing whatever teaming opportunities that come along. Could also make for fun team-content building as your team is also not locked inside a Task Force like Ouroboros.
  20. I would say Mind/Psi Dominator would be the closest fit, maybe Pink Colored Electric kits.
  21. I just want my Sentinel to float like a Praetorian Seer. 😭
  22. I just think it's obnoxious how the cooldowns are short enough to become a regular part of every other attack chain in addition to granting archetypes that have no business having massive killing potential an instant vaporization ability that carries no consequences of enhancement slotting whilst also bypassing target caps. If anything, I believe the cooldowns should be extended significantly or receive a condition. Take "Trance" mechanics used in some games where a character is under immense pressure and emotions where massive potential can be unleashed temporarily - for example a ratio of fallen teammates could be used to unlock a threshold and how much damage to be delivered. Quite honestly, I think the one thing that could be used to curb these mechanics is removing the Aggro Cap. If defensive measures are still an issue then grant diminishing returns on defenses so X amount of targets will eventually bypass defenses to dangerous levels.
  23. Do you Exemplar much? I would tweak where you obtain certain powers, particularly bring Soul Absorption online sooner because it's a much more effective tool for aiding in lower level content. (Just some personal opinion on skill choices...) I'm not particularly a fan of maximized defense but I found between Crowd Control, Pets, Heals, Buffs, and Debuffs so I felt comfortable sacrificing the Leadership (or Fighting) pool to pick up utility with Recall Friend for body-stacking Howling Twilight combinations (also having the option of Flash and a Travel power). I also opted for the Energy Epic line because Power Boost granting mega-heals and other bonuses have left me with stunning results.
