I think DC universe had this, and while its technically possible i am not sure how much effort it would take to code. For now we have this; the 1st and easiest changes to make were idle/travel powers. Good luck and stay safe out there -

ugh i hate to agree with the OP's suggested nerf. but yeah everybody nuking all the time kinda trivializes the game. -
Suggestion: Remove limit of 4 Pool Power sets.

Agreed. This can be fixed by making hasten more costly. Ie. you cant choose it without either flurry or SS. Also those perma states can be achieved nowadays without hasten. -
So here's a quick faq on how to use KB pretty easily 1. Single target KB is the easiest to learn and deal with. Not usually a problem if you mess up a little with your positioning because A. your power only affects a single target and B. Most targets especially stronger foes resist KB fairly well. 2. Aoe KB is that main culprit most folk complain about cause when you don't position properly enemies go everywhere. (This post is already long enough so lets just use Energy blast as the primary example since its loaded with soo much KB.) The 2 main culprits are [explosive blast] & [nova]. Place the overwhelming force set in [explosive blast] and you turn its kb into kd without losing ANY dmg. Nova is even easier, slot as normal and when used, minions should die instantly (use [aim/build up] prior) and anything strong enough to survive is usually strong enough to resist KB. 3. Hover/fly is your friend remember all KB becomes KD when your shots come from above.

i am a huge proponent for more options. In fact i created a thread very similar to this one awhile back. I also was using the KB-KD ios. It was brought to my attention if i bothered to learn how to use KB to my advantage changing to KD becomes a moot point. So i rolled an Energy Blaster and played it exclusively for 2 months. The experience of using KB during that time increased my knowledge of how KB worked. The knowledge i gained changed my perspective on how KB should work. Once my perspective changed so did my opinion. Using KB appropriately is a skill on its own. It takes time patience and practice. I no longer care if they change KB-KD or any variation because i KNOW how to use it. Such changes would have little effect on me. However, there have been multiple cases where my KB will knock a foe into a wall (mostly caves) and it becomes very difficult to kill a foe trapped in a wall. That needs to be fixed.

This i'snt the 1st time this has been brought up and i empathize i really do. I take stealth on 75% of characters i create. Stealth is an amazing ability, especially when you stack them. Stalkers make excellent use of stealth to great effect. Stealth powers are an aggro management tool. Transparent Characters are not necessarily invisible characters. Stalkers have the HIDDEN status that appears in the upper right corner of the user interface. The problem is other archetypes don't have this "hidden" status even when they are legitimately invisible and undetectable to enemies. If the transparency of stealth powers are removed It becomes more difficult to determine if you are hidden or not. Now i'm aware that you can use combat logs and/or this would be a voluntary action but, Id like to see my characters too. I don't want a cluttered interface. I would like all AT's to have the green HIDDEN status appear in the upper right corner when they achieve a certain level of stealth. thank you for reading my ted talk lol

I think Valkyrie armored works just right for vulture Insect works great for wasp Glittering fairly can pass for a butterfly which is a type of fly iirc banshee doesn't have wings just these weird elliptical arm capes, similar to storm that being said i would love to see beetle wings that fold up into a backpack or something maybe. I've seen dual wings in other mmos that are pretty cool sometimes.

well done, i too believe grav requires some love. i think grav suffers from a lack of secondary effects. id suggest slow or recharge rate but i think ice and psi have those on lockdown how about some kind of end burn. something like New status effect: [Density Surge] foes effected by density surge have the endurance cost of their powers increase by 1% this effect stacked up 10 ten times and lasts 5 seconds per stack.

i believe the next patch will allow path auras and combat auras at the same time so it looks like u kinda get your request sorta

actually theres a lot wrong with this set besides the points you bring up. for example. 1. the odd redraw when switching from blasting to slashing. 2a. the shinobi power does not appear to apply the speed/jumping buff its supposed to 2b. as well as the reduced DPS compared to build up/aim 3 The lotus drops seems to have a far longer recharge and lower damage for similar pbaoes in this tier for this AT although its end cost is lower than non weapon powers (wtf) 4. choking powder and blinding powder and Smoke Flash? Does this powerset really need all 3 of these? how about caltrops or a shuriken? 5 the fact that you HAVE to take immobilizing dart is just frustrating to all hell. That being said, i do love it, its probably by 2nd favorite secondary for blasters.

i cant wait to slot knockout blow with a KB set then teleport after the foe in the air then use air superiority to make them crash back into the ground for an instant KO. plz add little crater animation when they hit the ground from a certain speed or distance......mmm-mmm good! -

i would also like to say that both these classes have some endurance issues as their inherents are quite weak and they are fairly toggle heavy.

Fixing/Smoothing Energy Manipulation for Blasters

sounds like you don't like this set much considering how many changes you are suggesting, have u tried martial combat or atomic manipulation? These seem to function in a similar manner to what you are suggesting. -
i love this idea in principle not necessarily in execution. so here is my counter proposal. every 100 vet levels turn them in for 1 extra slot, or something like that. Also its inherently easier/faster for some AT's to generate Vet levels than others. So maybe support classes require less to get more?

Alternate Animations for Martial Combat

heyo i am a huge advocate for more alternate power variations. they add depth and personalization to our characters. However it appears that aesthetics is fairly low in the priority cue to the HC team or at least far below adding new things (hooray) and balancing current under-performing abilities (woot). That being said all hope is not lost. For now we have this: it is by no means perfect & does have some limitations but i can personally attest that it does work. Stay safe out there. -
My bad allow me to explain myself. I have a level 50 savage melee/ Dark armor character whom is played exclusively red side and has done as much pre 50 content that a character could do before hitting 50 without turning off experience. Due to choosing savage melee (wisely i might add) that compliments dark armor well due to the endurance discount that comes from blood frenzy i experienced very little endurance issues leveling up. This is not only true for savage melee off of the top of my head Staff also provides and endurance discount with form of the soul. Finally the classic Dark melee has dark consumption. Any of these complimentary sets can assist with the endurance difficulties of Dark Armor. However most of the weapon sets require large amounts of endurance, coupled with dark armor you will immediately notice an endurance deficiency. These deficiencies can be alleviated with proper slotting of IO's OR by using the incarnate system. Dark Armor is not alone in its lack of endurance mitigation "shield, super reflexes, and invulnerability" all have comparatively high endurance costs to run due to this fact. If one plans carefully, epic power pools can aid with a players endurance issues. I personally, cant find a way to make shield work well for me so i avoid that powerset. Others love it and thats fine; but just because i am unable to make it work for me doesn't mean that there is something wrong with shield and that its needs some kind of fix. i apologize if my earlier response seemed terse, not every response needs a /jranger.

i have a level 50 dark armor. with capped resists and softcapped melee defenses. I never run out of end. I also do not rely on incarnates. Slot well, play well or try another powerset.
