  1. I immediately placed that drop in base salvage storage and have done smash and grabs on over a score of a new 50s, which never had an access bypass drop. But sure, I'll bear in mind.
  2. Access Bypass seems to have a very low drop rate. I do a disproportionate number of mayhems (I genuinely enjoy those) and recently got my first access bypass since starting up in... May, I think it was. I always do all the sides so I've been doing the "smash and grabs" they drop from. Based on my number of 50s, I'm going to guess I've done at least 100 smash and grabs (and whatever the hero equivalent is) and only have 1 access bypass to show for it.
  3. I just used a power analyzer (like anyone can do) to see and the resistance to sleep was 0. In fact all mez resists were 0, triangles or no. Mag was 50 for non-sleeps with triangles up.
  4. 1. Take the alpha and be quick about it
  5. I'm going to guess with high certainty that SR wasn't available to tanks when that guide was written. I'm grinding up an SR tank right now and for my vote, it's the clear winner to the question posed in the subject heading, soft-capped from Posi on up.
  6. Here's some not too detailed info about them, basically what MetaVile said: https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Warburg_Nuke 1. There's not really a hierarchy so much as there's "the right tool for the job". Back in the retail version, I tried to make sure I had all 3 at any point in time. My own preference for order to acquire - 1) bio 2) chem 3) nuke 2. Eh, they seem a bit like overkill now. You can't use them for iTrials and everything else gets steamrolled with a quickness. Still, it might be worth having one or two in your back pocket in case you somehow get stuck on some hell team that can't defeat the Freedom Phalanx (for example) for some reason. Frankly the only reason I don't pursue them now is due to how annoyed I get at the scientists and how dumb they are at following.
  7. Here's a way to sneak in 20% global recharge - use the base empowerment buff "increase attack speed". Buy a dozen (scores even) of each of the 3 pieces needed (2 commons, 1 uncommon) and stick them in your personal vault. While the base teleport trick is still available, just whisk yourself away real quick whenever the buff expires. Again... it's 20%. I make sure it's on all my characters, all the time. The other base empowerments ain't too shabby either.
  8. If you think Serafina to be "easy" I tip my hat to you.
  9. I just obtained a summon power not listed in the link of temp powers I gave above. It's a Tsoo Sorcerer summons from the dude in Steel Canyon that's an art director. I'm fairly sure it's post i23 content so not in Paragonwiki. Excellent arc, by the way, deeper than most I've seen. I don't want to say too much about it for those who are new to it.
  10. Mako has 1 more kill all than BS, otherwise, I'd nominate Mako's arc, since you can configure your settings so the final boss (McKnight) has a Boss rank. Ghost Widow, on the other hand, is straightforward for missions but the end boss Numina is not exactly "easy mode". Scirocco is for those seeking a challenge.
  11. Spiritual (or Agility) are not global recharge bonuses, they provide an enhancement bonus, not a global bonus. You can slot 5 LOTGs. Doms have a lot of opportunities to slot various purples, getting 4-5 of those 10% recharge bonuses (including ATO) goes a loooong way to attaining perma-dom. Mids Reborn has a bonus finder to help you find other sources of recharge.
  12. My 2 inf - I like that there's an element of this game where there can still be winners and losers. I like the high of a microfilament and even enjoy the low of yet another golgi.
  13. If you're anti blapping, check out /TA. Not a blap to be found.
  14. The Vanguard HVAS should be included in your personal army, to go with Amy, Shivan and Warwolf. It's very very powerful. There are some less powerful pets but if you're looking for more dps, there's LOA bone from Mr. Bocor for a zombie summons and Ambassador Kuhr'rekt (sp?) gives a Rikti drone (a gun too). Cryonite Armor exists for some s/l def (cold res). I've gotten it from weapons deals in bank missions (both sides). Here's the full list (as of game's shutdown). https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Temporary_Powers ETA - +1 to base empowerments. I keep the salvage in storage for a couple of my favorite buffs (recharge and recovery) and I try to end a play session crafting whatever buffs I can with salvage on hand.
  15. I wrote that request with my user hat on. Someone wearing a coder hat would have to answer whether it's feasible or possible.
  16. I heartily agree
  17. High on my wish-list is a text field the user can view on the character selection screen. This would be for miscellaneous notes. A "for example" to answer "why do you want this?" is to be able to check, at a glance, whether a character needs the current WST or not. Let me preemptively ask that someone not bother to counter with "you don't need that for WST just *blah*". Again, this is just for example, there are dozens of other use cases for the "why". Ideally we would be able to edit this field in game. Editing it on the character selection would also be nice. I'm no UI designer (the proof is linked to below), so I hate to go into specifics. Personally, something on the order of 24-32 characters would be fine. More is better but I won't be particular about the size.
  18. Not too long ago I hit 50 for the first time with a Sent. I had been hesitant to roll one because I kept thinking "Why make a Sentinel when I can just make a Blaster with good def bonuses?" It turns out the survivability is a real difference. Even a well build blaster is still a house of cards that comes crumbling down with the wrong debuff or two. With a real armor, the survival tools are much stronger. My Sent was Sonic/Bio with a lot of +Def bonuses. It's very very sturdy, comparable to most anything not brute or tank out of everything I've played (for sturdiness). As far as role goes, I'll just say I play it the same as any "assault" AT. Like a Blaster, there's nothing to do but shoot things, so... that's my role. Kill things, stay alive. For Opportunity, I don't worry about it too much. For a truly hard target, I'll go for offensive, but for the most part, I just adhere to my attack chain and whatever opportunity is up is what gets used.
  19. I had one of these in the retail game and it works quite well, especially because a tricky thing with -rch/-spd being your specialty is you have to survive the alpha. Time's pretty good at that. I had created that character as an ITF specialist, since Romans are particularly difficult to mez (with their Shouts that break mezzes) but once their first round of attacks are used up, they're mostly wandering in slow motion around you.
  20. According to this former go-to doc http://web.archive.org/web/20130902224630/http://www.culex.us/ig/coh/CHres.xls The FP all have mag 4 sleep protection.
  21. That Oro arc (not a flashback, one of the Oro tfs at 45 or so) with all the AVs/Heros sounds like what you're looking for.
  22. You take Claws for Spin. Stalker Claws don't get Spin. Ergo, clear edge to Scraps for this particular primary. (I came to this conclusion the hard way years ago, my first 50 Stalker ages ago was Claws)
  23. The pet resist cap is 90. Of the two options given, I'd have a slight preference for Thermal. The in-my-head math (meaning I'm too lazy to walk to my Mids computer) says the res buffs would be in the low 60s. With the Pet +res IOs and native resists + spot healing as needed, you wouldn't do a lot of resummoning. Except the Arsonist, he always manages to find a way to die regardless of how invincible his buffs make him on paper. Is this "the best" combo? Dunno, but I can promise you that when you get the sweet Thermal debuffs at t8 and t9, there won't be anything the game can throw at you that you wouldn't curbstomp until you're 50. Then with a strong build you can curbstomp that lvl 50 content too.
  24. You mentioned only PVE play, so the Acc enh in Taunt isn't needed (autohit in PVE). Go with, well, anything else. I like the psi proc for 1 slot. When it comes time to select a Judgement, keep in mind t4 Void Radial does a -50 dmg debuff.
