Entangling Aura works pretty well.

Take a sonic and a thermal if you can. I agree. Diversify. a nature player would be cool also. It’s AOE heal is a cone. So it can be used at range. Regardless. There are tons of options.
-
Blaster are for damage. They have melee, range, AOE and single target attacks. That gives players the option to build what type of character they want. They could go balance or specialize in melee or range

Yes. Sentinel fills a nice missing niche. Range and defenses assault and defenses would be a different AT to me. maybe they could make that after they do a melee/support AT

Whirlwind sighting. Much love my friend, much love. One of the most gorgeous abilities in the game. That little wind up and whoosh! To the OP with nature. I play multiple nature toons. I love it with good defenses, and its resists, and the hold aura, and, and, and... It actually takes a lot of work to die with nature. I think on my Beast Nature MM I got overgrowth down to 63 seconds recharge. But defenses suffered and overall survivability went down. I run two build now with it at around 70 or so and its groovin. But yeah I do notice when it’s down. I think energy could probably get it perma with FF procs. Since every attack takes it. But stay with what you like or want

I wish I could help, but I can't. I'm interested in this also. I have a STJ/WP that I'm slowly leveling up. I always imagined STJ/WP as a Batman kind of fighter.

I know this is a blaster thread, but this could work pretty well as a Nature/Energy defender. since the energy nuke is a pbaoe and nature has the Entangling Aura pbaoe hold and with the hold proc added in. It would have the absorb shield, resists, and endo redux buff, poor mans hold aura, that takes damage procs, and built in group build up. Nature's biggest weakness is trying to fit in lots of recharge. Seems like this would pretty much solve the issue. Lots of proc damage and lots of recharge. Would you be interested in whipping one up for us @Sir Myshkin?

Yes unfortunately, it does seem that pets have their absorb capped at their base HP.
-
I have made several posts about Nature's Bastion Absorb. I have since discovered that there is an Absorb cap for players in that it maxes out at your base HP of 803. So it will double your base hp if you go full out. On the defender forums someone asked about if that applies to pets. I logged back onto pineapple where i have a fully fleshed out Nature MM. I have sad news. It does look like the Pets have the same cap limitation of their base HP. Judging from the pet window and the window above their head. In the picture take a gander at the pet window. You will see that Genin and Jounin's health bar is half absorb half regular health. This was Powerboosted Absorb + Resilient Radial Incarnate. The floating text when i cast is 848 HP. But I only get 803.2 and it looks like the pets only get their HP as cap. T1 Pets Base HP: 574.95 T2 Pets Base HP: 768.83 T3 Pets Base HP: 963.81 So with Powerboosted Absorb and Resilient Radial it almost caps out the T3 pets, and does cap out the T1 and T2. Too bad there is no massive bonus absorb. But double is better than nothing. I apologize for the misinformation.

Yeah, I think elec should probably do -end and also a -end recovery. that way it cover that recovery hole.

just tossing ideas out. what if they gave electric a -damage component. So far i think there is just 1 damage set that does this and it is melee.

MM PPM Gimmicks and Tricks: Leviathan Edition

Cool build. I'm still perusing it in my off time. I do have a question that I've never tested or seen actually tested. Does the Devastation Hold proc mag actually stack with the hold power that it is in? I always wondered about Lockdown and Entangling if they actually stacked for combined magnitude. I just couldn't think of a way to actually test it. Let me know! -
The homecoming of Sandolphan's MM Numpad binds!
SmalltalkJava replied to Warlawk's topic in Mastermind
Hmm. i don't see any glaring issues. However, i don't use the keybinds so i can't really verify. Is there any system errors printing out? Just for the testing purposes. change bindloadfilesilent to bindloadfile That way you can make sure the files are loading correctly. oh one more thing... does it matter with the Num-Lock off vs on? you might see if it does. -
Just a warning. /Kin is a hard life with a MM. But you will love it when another player with good shields or Time or Nature is on the team. Remember your T1 pets only have like 570 HP when your level 50. So they will die a lot. It will also be hard to actually play Thugs with Kin as your heal is pbaoe off the target. and thugs prefer range. If your set on a /Kin MM. you might try Beasts. With beasts at least they are always in melee range with the enemy. So you can heal spam. Anyways, here is a quick expensive build for a Thugs-Kin. It is capped to S/L/E defense for yourself with good resists for yourself for S/L and a bit of toxic. I switched it over from Darkir's Demon/Kin Build. This build doesn't have Increase Density, but you can just drop either Pistols or Duel Wield to pick it up if you want it. Then take the extra slots and move them somewhere else. Villain Plan by Mids' Reborn : Hero Designer 2.6.0.6 https://github.com/ImaginaryDevelopment/imaginary-hero-designer Click this DataLink to open the build!

I wasn't sure about this. so I did a quick test. I does not seem to affect the pets. Where to slot it, I usually have it slotted in Maneuvers, I do use the MM's personal attacks. The Pet was re-summoned between unslotting and slotting Kismet, and also while I cycled Maneuvers off and back on. Just to make sure everything was cleared out. With the Kismet slotted: [20:31:02] Stink: HIT Council Empire Force! Your Pistols power had a 62.39% chance to hit, you rolled a 35.06. Without Kismet: [20:24:21] Stink: MISSED Council Empire Force!! Your Pistols power had a 62.39% chance to hit, you rolled a 94.80. - bonus curiosity test - Since I was curious, and this test was against a +4 level 54 minion. I checked what the to hit was for the T1 Thug with 6 Slotted Gaussians in Tactics. [20:38:04] Stink: HIT Council Empire Force! Your Pistols power had a 86.96% chance to hit, you rolled a 16.32.

Yes I agree they should be changed so they are useful.

Hmm some good info in this thread for sure. I will have to decide on what to make my tanker version of "Skunk Man". I have one of him for several AT's so far.

Just an observation on how cheap this market is.
SmalltalkJava replied to Murcielago's topic in The Market
I hope the economy doesn’t sky rocket like live. If it does then I’ll have to quit. I’m not a fan of economy games. Just don’t want to have to play the market to buy the IOS I want. -
I bought mine from cyberpower with 16 gigs of ram about 7 years ago. Still running coh perfect on it. https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/

Favorite late game & level 50+ support set
SmalltalkJava replied to colemyboe's topic in General Discussion
Really digging Nature. Group wide: HP absorb, Build Up, Resists, Endurance Discount, a choking cloud like hold. And a weak -regen -to hit toggle -
@Darkir I think i'll use that last build you posted.

That is me. I had to change my college major from Physics because I sucked at math. I love the concepts but my brain is so slow when it comes to doing it. It just doesn’t click. I do realize it’s power IO allow you so really enhance defenses for squishier classes. The set bonuses add up to really boost an AT to almost unimaginable heights
