New Badges for things I was going to do anyway

*This post is for entertainment purposes only.  These are not serious Suggestions which is why I didn't put this post there.*

 

If I have learned two things from reading the Suggestions forum, it is:

1.  Everyone wants a new badge for doing something they were going to do anyway.

2.  Nobody, and I mean nobody, wants a new badge for doing something they don't want to do.

 

I can't do anything about the latter, but here are a few things I'd love to get badges for that I'm going to do anyway:

 

Trust Fund Baby:  Reach the 2bn inf cap on a lvl 1 character.

 

Solo Task Force Commander:  Complete all the TF Commander TFs solo.  Get +10% hp instead of +5%!

 

Good, Bad, I'm the One with the Gun:  Run all alignments the old-fashioned way with tips missions instead of using Null.

 

[Zone] Rail Rider:  Run along the entire elevated rail system in any given zone (hero only I guess?).

I wish this were a real badge now (and would run it on all my characters just for the title option).

That one can get sketchy.  Peregrine Island will dump you in Talos Island if you go beyond the border.  Striga Island might do that too.  Shadow Shard zones will also reset you to the zone entrance if you go off the sides of the map too.

While not things I'd do, since I find them *really* kind of annoying when people "circle" doing this-

 

On Springs - for Superjumping (or... the other one, forget the name) around within a set area (about room size) for 5 minutes straight.

Oh So Hyper - For using Superspeed or speed of sound inside a set area for 5 minutes straight.

 

Must actually be *moving,* not just standing in place or bouncing up and down, for this.

These do actually sound cool. I know it's a MMO, but also I like solo challenge stuff too.

This already kind of exists as the Fashion Victim badge, which is something like 50m inf in tailoring fees.

Here's a few ideas of my own.

Knuckle Sandwich: Land a hit with Brawl 10,000 times.

Cherry Tapper: Defeat any Giant Monster by using Brawl to land the final hit.

Lethal Joke Weapon: Defeat an ally by using the Toy Bat temporary power awarded on April Fool's Day.

Unwinnable By Insanity: Cause a mission to become softlocked by using the Toy Bat to defeat a mission critical NPC.

In No Rush: Travel 1 mile with Walk active.

Slow and Steady: After freeing an escort from their captor, take them back to the mission entrance with Walk active the entire time.  Teleporting not allowed.

Interdimensional Sabatical: With Walk active and without using any other travel powers or teleportation, travel from the entrance to Peregrine Island to the entrance to Cascade Archipelago in Firebase Zulu.

Long Distance Runner: With no other travel powers enabled (including P2W travels like Ninja Run, as well as Walk), travel 5 miles with Sprint or any of its variarions active.  Distance teleported is not counted.

Marathon Man/Woman: Travel 26 total miles on foot.

Frequent Flier: Travel 25 total miles with any Flight power, including Group Fly, Jetpacks, and Prestige Flight.

In a Single Bound: Travel 25 total miles by jumping.

Displaced in Space: Travel 50 total miles through teleportation, including self teleportation or ally recalls.

Wandering Beast: Travel 25 total miles using either the Coyote or Panther Transformation powers available from P2W.

Surf's Up!:  Abuse jump physics to remain "airborne" on an angled surface for 5 minutes without landing.

We Have Liftoff: Abuse jump physics to gain at least 50ft of height in a single jump by launching off an angled surface.

Not Getting Any Younger: Spend a total of 30 minutes using any "away" emote.

Needs Food Badly: Spend a total of 30 minutes using any "food & drink" emote.

What Did You Think It Meant?: Spend 30 minutes using the "Drink Tea" emote (/em teabag).

Go Nuts For Donuts: Spend a total of 30 minutes using the "Eat Donut" emote or any variations of such.

Making a Splash: Spend a total of 30 minutes using any "swimming" emote.

Juke Box Hero/Villain: Spend a total of 30 minutes using any "Boombox" emote.

Dance Machine: Spend a total of 30 minutes using any "Dance" emote.

Yahtzee!: Roll the same number 5 times in a row with /em dice.  No cheating with /em dice7!

Lucky Penny: Have 3 straight Heads results with /em flipcoin.

Tailspin: Have 3 straight Tails results with /em flipcoin.

This must be why all those civilians walk in Independence Port.

 

With that thought, for civilians only:

Purseless: lose a purse 100 times.

Relic Loser: lose a relic 100 times. 

Hapless: get kidnapped/held hostage 100 times (Percy got this ages ago).

Cape Shover: force a "cape" out of the way 100 times.

Me First: run into a doorway to impede the progress of a "cape" 100 times.

 

And you all thought it was just random civilian activity.  Hah!

Stop Touching Me!: hit the ceiling cap in EVERY zone.

Shoved: get shoved aside by a civilian 100 times.

Bit o’ Coin: log out all your alts while they are standing on top of the huge display behind Blue Steel in KR.

Snipe Hunter... for taking out Crey Snipers

Undigestible... for taking out DE Devoured

Brutal Legend... for taking out Noble Brutes

Will o' Wisp... for taking out Wisp Overlords

Broken Mirror... for taking out Shard Reflections

Bullish... for taking out Bull Natterlings

Bottled Lightening... for taking out Storm Elementals
