I'll be happy when Super Strength is ported no matter what. My hope is we get Rage knowing full well it will be a significantly weakened version. I'd rather have that than Build Up. But if I don't get what I want, that's ok.

 

Besides, Stone Melee is what I want the most.

So besides the obvious /Bio, what sets do yall think would pair well with Super Strength? If you want to throw in a suggestion for Stone as well I won't be made at you.

Being there is a million page thread about Rage changes on the test server "Pineapple" it looks like the devs are maybe possibly getting ready to port Super Strength to other ATs ala Scrappers?

Rage is basically getting nerfed and it sucks because outside of Rage Super Strength isn't all that super.

Having now built a WP/SS tank... I still don't get the SS love. Being reduced to using temp power attacks to dish out some damage during the 10 sec downtime feels really weird to me. And with the whole set being kinda garbage except KO Blow and Foot Stomp (which, I get it, FS is glorious) maybe it's time for a change. Just make SS more like Vanden's forum gif and I'll be happy.

Super strength is the vanilla of primaries, everyone wants to play it at least once, only then to realize it's boring. But it still needs to be ported to Scrappers.

It's a nice buff for non-stacked Rage. Double Rage looks way worse now though, yeah.

Also, side note:

Rage is Broken. Scrappers shall never see its true form. Sorry, my-fault-not-my-fault. Killed a Pylon with a Brute in 1:55 and a Tank in 2:09. No way Cap gives us Rage now.

Scrappers haven't gotten SS YET?!?!?!

I think that the dev's were looking into adapting SS for Scrappers. but then they would have had to rename it "Average Strength" or "Fair to Middling Strength",  that way it would fit the overall usefulness and concept of Scrappers.
