  1. Yes that's how I remember Masterminds keeping their pets inside Group Fly back in the day. Follow one, then order all to move. No one expects the Flying Zombie Apocalypse! 😄
  2. Back in the day, I had a dark/psi blaster that was all cones all the time. Recently though, I've been playing a sonic blaster. Slotted Shockwave with the knockback to knockdown proc and recharge proc. On a team when the recharge proc hits (quite often), I pretty much Shockwave -> Howl -> repeat, and just juggle enemy groups till they die. It's nuts.
  3. Nice call, I'm a big fan of that power. Also the way it knocks them down looks awesome, with a big head-over-heels flip.
  4. I've got the presence pool fear powers on a current character. They're a bit short on duration, even if no one attacks them. Decent for concept power, but not great for actually keeping things feared. Also the animation/sound could be better, I was hoping for an awesome warcry scream.
  5. If it helps us get Pillow-fight Melee I'm all for it.
  6. Back on live this was glitched for a while, and it was glorious. Suicide walk in front of the train? No problem.
  7. This mission could spoof itself for a few hours, and gave every baddie a blank white outfit named GENERIC126484. At least I'd laugh if I walked in and saw that.
  8. Did you try comparing the rate of fire to when you use Hasten before Voltaic Sentinel?
  9. To me, Spring Attack is a just for fun power. It's a cool way to pick a fight, and I imagine my character saying "Sup" every time I use it. And yes, Cross Punch is awesome.
  10. I think you want the suggestions area - https://forums.homecomingservers.com/forum/45-suggestions-amp-feedback/
  11. This was mentioned in the Sept 10th patch notes: Fixed an issue where Devices > Targeting Drone was taking 30 seconds out of combat, instead of 8, to increase it's damage buff. Sounds like it's eight seconds now. And the damage buff is way higher than Shinobi from the Ninja set ... sheesh that makes my /ninja character jealous.
  12. The ToHit debuff from blinding powder will be the largest contributor. That's around 11% when slotted up. The blasts will contribute a smaller amount as well, and yes those will stack. A special mention goes out to the T9 Blackstar, which will absolutely wreck enemies tohit, however that won't be up every fight. In a vacuum using these debuffs, it'll be noticeable but not "very hard to hit the player and his allies" (other than Blackstar as mentioned above). It'll depend if your SG team has defense buffs going around probably.
  13. If the intent is to pass by enemies without drawing lots of attacks (for blitzing to the end of radio missions or whatever), I've had good luck with this as long as I keep moving and hover has a bit of speed slotted. Certain groups like Nemesis will still hurt though. If the intent is to stop right next to enemies, then unfortunately you'll need more.
  14. I believe that was called the "Alarm Clock" back in the day. 🙂
  15. I wonder if you could play that like a Fire/Ice tanker: basically getting enemies to flop around on an Ice Patch, then dropping Ignite on them.
  16. ... Then I am playing on a harder difficulty and adjust as needed. Use a few extra inspirations, or perhaps take an extra jog to the mission. No biggie.
  17. If Rise of the Phoenix isn't contributing to your attack chain, you're doing it wrong. 😛
  18. To be fair, we get messages about picking up salvage / recipes all the time, and I don't consider my heroes are looting bad guys for their stuff.
  19. Melee characters can take ranged attacks in the Ancillary pools. If you can't beat em, join em. 😛
  20. The most important thing: When only one enemy remains and you can defeat it at your leisure, Ring of Fire -> hide behind a wall -> turn camera a bit to use Ignite straight through the wall -> cackle like a madman.
  21. They were scheduled for Issue 24 on live. https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Issue_24
  22. To follow up: Sometimes you choose an interface. Sometimes the interface chooses you.
  23. If we want Omega to live up to the hype, it should enable the "I WIN" button. When pressed, it displays the message "Congratulations! You win!" and plays some credits. (Yes this is silly, don't take a post asking for a button that plays credits seriously.)
  24. On the Ninja side: Immobilizing Dart - You have to take it. Standard immobilize. Sting of the Wasp - It's not a good attack, but it's another sword swing if that's the theme you're going for. I'd skip it unless you really want the theme. Choking Powder - This is a good hold. However archery doesn't have another hold to stack it with so you'll need to look into Ancillary pools if you want to quickly hold bosses. Shinobi - Take it as soon as available. This is your damage boost and has a stealth effect. You can stack it with superspeed for better invisibility. The Lotus Drops - Take it. Decent AoE and it's a sword attack for your concept. Kuji-In Toh - Take it as soon as available, and put it on auto. The endurance and regen are game changers. Smoke Flash - The placate doesn't always work. The resist debuff is ok. Try it out if you want, but don't be afraid to skip it if you want other powers. Blinding Powder - I'd take this one. It doesn't break your Shinobi hide so you can splash it on enemies freely. Also Contagious Confusion proc gets really crazy in this power. Golden Dragonfly - I'd take this one. You may need to practice setting it up to hit multiple targets (the cone is very small), but it can be worth it once you get the technique down. As a single-target attack it's merely okay. My /ninja got to 50 a while back. I haven't got around to respeccing yet so I still have all the powers in the secondary.
