Sometimes we make costumes with subtle differences, and . . . well, without getting in to too much detail about a specific example of mine, I would absolutely benefit from @Khrystina's suggestion here. 7 to 9 costume Slots are a lot to keep track of for someone with over 200 characters. Sure, that's probably not the norm, but quality of life features often have lots of benefit beyond the initial niche.

For the record; a user's Global Handle will default to the first character they successfully log in as, regardless of their forum account name or game account name. As such, Global Handles can containing spaces and special characters, unlike game account names.

Judging by some of my posts still being around, I think there are plenty of messages which some GMs don't like but are still around. But, ok. Way off topic now. I'mma stop. I'll poke in later to see if we're on track with the discussion on the validity of caring about level 50, and then post if things look to be course corrected. (Hey. GMs . . . it's the holidays, so don't put too much thought in to this suggestion yet . . . but maybe some time in January we can look in to doing a thread specifically on the discourse surrounding administration and moderation. I am not sure that's true, @WanderingAries. I know it's possible to change your forum display name. I know it's possible to change your Global Handle (once for free, and any future changes must be approved by a GM, with a good reason). But I am fairly sure you can not change your game account name. BUT that remains private, and the only person who can ever see it is you and Devs/GMs while troubleshooting support petitions.

Given the bonkers state of the larger chronology of "the" narrative, I think a timeline-neutral story arc holds up better. (But then, that's a complaint/concern that probably deserves its own entire thread.)

If you believe someone is trolling, report it. And look . . . not to make this some kind of e-clit measuring contest, but when it comes to issues of fairness with authority figures and not trusting the GMs or the Devs due to a history of clandestine behaviour and gas-lighting, I damn well feel VERY strongly about wanting to hold them accountable. But in the here-and-now of this particular thread? GM Widower is right. And I fucking -hate- to encourage people to use the ignore function. But trying to shame or shout down someone who posts that way which sets off so many of you with foaming mad trips, troll or not, it's ultimately smoother for everyone to flag and move on. Because the moment you target someone with vitriol, you become the person the GMs -have- to admonish. Does buying up every piece of a certain something, no matter the cost, and then relisting it at 1 Inf count as "Manipulation?" If so, then I was a manipulator last evening for something that originally had about 1700 listed, and less than 700 bids. Most expensive one was bought at around 17,000,000 while the cheapest ones I sold were at 11. All bids are now filled. Only cost me about 300,000,000 to do it, too. Although the time investment of three or four hours was less than ideal. I'll be taking a stab at repeating this for the other three of its kind later on.

Depends on my mood and if I'm roleplaying or not. Some of them I intentionally get defeated by aggro'ing several groups, and then running away while the escortee is getting attacked from all angles. Some of them I carefully bring to the entrance of the mission, then abandon them there so they lose sight of me. Alternatively, I'll avoid the trigger to free them entirely until I've cleared the rest of the map. And sometimes I just don't overthink it, and pretend they're not there and don't care what happens. And while testing Piecemeal's new arcs, I did all three, for each mission. Discovered you could originally get Pierce defeated in the villain mission where you break her out of PPD custody by constantly riding the elevators up and down. That's been corrected, though. Seems she can't drop below 1 HP any longer.

The timing on this is rather fortuitous. I was contemplating how best to author some tutorials for non-game-savvy individuals who are interested in attending the Pride celebrations. Looks like Youtube video tutorials are back on the menu!

Will that remain the way it operates in the future, or will you be providing a more user-friendly alternative before the Release version? I mean, I do wish for more people to learn how to navigate their computers' file folder architecture, but having been a troubleshooter for many players trying to install Mods for the game . . . I can see this being a big barrier for a lot of them.
