  1. Now, much like you, I'd like to have an armor set that is closer to the concept I have, which is why I did the Temporal Energy Armor Set suggestion. That said, we can make do with other sets. Dark Armor doesn't have to be Dark Armor in concept, it has Psi Resist, it could be your concept. Now, do you have a suggestion for a Psi Armor set? Would they make it like Energy Aura, that is typed defense based with low resists? That would bother me, not because of typed defense, but the one part I hate about Energy Aura, is it doesn't cap Energy Resist on it's own. Of course, I also hate Dark Armor for not capping Negative Resist on it's own. 😕
  2. I really haven't found end management in the early game to be a problem since they gave us Stamina.

Temporal Phase: <Toggle - .65/End Sec> Self Intangible, +Regen (+500%) -You can remove yourself from time, making you effectively invisible, giving you time to recover or even get away. However, this is taxing and you can only maintain this state for 30 seconds. While in this state you can't interact with others. I'm only guessing at the numbers given. 175% Regen is equal to Unenhanced RTTC on Scrappers with 7 targets. Chrono Shift could be made a click and do +Recovery instead, but I liked the idea of a toggle and less clicks, but not totally clickless. Could perhaps go without the End Drain Resist, but my reasoning was the Defender version has +Recovery in a click form and I didn't like the idea of +Recovery in a toggle. Split Quickness and Lightning Reflexes' +RCH between two toggles, each of those toggles having other effects, so I kept the +Recharge at 20% total, like the previously mention passives. With the -ToHit, I wasn't sure if the two Defense Toggles (Farsight and Cloak) should have any Defense Debuff Resistance. Tried to keep the powers a bit like the time sets we have, with the idea going for Defense/Regen/Heal. Could possibly add in Smashing and Lethal Resist, but then I figure the resistances would like be lower numbers and I thought the theme may do better with those 4 resists and lacking S/L Resist. And...of course...I am by no means a balance expert. This is just an idea of how to do a Temporal Energy Armor set. Edit: Made a change, in seeing Quickness and Lightning Reflexes both have 40% Slow Resist and not the 20% I thought it was.
  4. True, I'd be more seeing how it works with some tough AV level enemies. It'd also be enhanced by Musculature Radial, which adds 33% End Mod to the Electric Attacks.

  7. The problem I have with this idea is the powers come in orders. Heightened Sight Heightened Smell Heightened Hearing Heightened Vision Cosmic/Combat/Sixth Sense Not all who have Cosmic Awareness even have other heightened senses. Also, I put that last one as a catch all. Feels more like something we should have in a superhero game with some talent points/trees.

  9. Looking at Elec/Nin, Elec/Elec, Elec/EA, TW/Nin, TW/Elec, TW/EA, StJ/Elec or StJ/EA. Been maining Energy/Regen Brute, but I just prefer Scrappers and I started going meh with the Energy/Regen build. So, time for a change! Again! I can make any of these concepts work for a scrapper with time energy manipulating powers, that's easy enough, but looking trying to get some thoughts on these various builds, for any who have done them. Unlimited IO build experience before Incarnate is good help too. As I do care about the before Incarnate feel. Though, with any of these, I'm most likely planning Musculature Radial or Core Alpha, and if I go Elec Melee, Preemptive Interface, for the additional energy drain effect.

  12. Should be noted, the KB protection isn't the best. However, being a Defense based set, I never found it to be to much of an issue and I usually put a KB Resist IO in somewhere to add to Ninjitsu's KB Resist. Though, I never minded the occasional KB. It's when it's chained non stop that I can see frustration.
  13. I'd love to see an increase in space. If doubling breaks it, is there a number that's an increase, that won't break it? Often times, I can find I could use just 1-500 more.

  15. If we go by that logic, then Stalker's shouldn't have Ninjitsu, because that's not how they play. Never was a good way to play either. Assassin strike. Placate. Wait. Wait. Wait. Assassin strike. Placate. Wait... All Hide on a Stalker was good for, if one didn't want to wait around forever, was the initial hit, and even then, if one was playing fast enough, one wasn't always getting back into hide, by the time you were at the next mob.
  16. What? Scrappers had Dark Armor before there was a Ninjitsu power set. Scrappers having Ninjitsu should've always been a thing. The question is, would the devs have ported Ninjitsu as we have in HC and if so, would they have changed up the Stalker version a bit.
  17. Well, Burst is 2.904 seconds (86.02 damage) versus Spin's 2.64 seconds (108.7 damage). So, spin wins in damage and speed, however, Spin is Lethal while Burst is Smashing/Energy. Dragon's Tail is faster than both of them at 1.716 seconds (81.2 damage). Though, should be noted, both Burst and DT have knockdown.
  18. No, but put a Stealth IO in Shinobi-Iri and it becomes Invis level, and I don't recall much seeing past it. However, you can save a slot and put the stealth IO in Sprint. Or, as I did, I put the extra slot in Sprint and nabbed an extra 2.25% S/L Resist with the set bonus.
  19. Quick Strike is 1.056 seconds. Body Blow is 1.32 seconds. Smashing Blow is 1.452 seconds. Follow Up is 1.056. Focus is 1.32. Slash is 1.584 seconds Considering, from what I understand, the best ST DPS chains of these two sets consist of these powers...how exactly is Kinetic Melee slow?
  20. Those could work too 🙂 I feel it could be a good armor set, just turning a lot of Time Manipulation into an Armor set. Regen/Heal/Defense set (maybe a psi resist). Time's Juncture is a good offensive/defense toggle for a melee (-tohit/-rch/slow). It's right there. I keep hoping we'll see such a set.
  21. On live, and I can only guess it's gotten better, I soloed AVs and the ITF without Incarnates, with just Blinding Feint > Attack Vitals > Repeat, with a DB/WP Scrapper. It may not be the best DPS, but it was plenty.
  22. Temporal Armor. Can use lots of animations from Time Manipulation and even SR for some armor toggles.

  24. I feel a Melee/Support that does Scrapper level damage would be fun, with some sets. I'd love it with Energy Melee or Street Justice/Time Manipulation. Though, all they really need to do is make a Time Armor set.
  25. Is it possible to get it so one can use the cybernetic arm and still use the jackets/shirts? Would be nice for those civvie identities!
