  1. One set has a Purple Level Damage Proc, so that's good. The other is Mez Resist, but having not made a Blaster, I couldn't say how good that resist is. Sounds terrible though. I do wish they both gave 5% Range defense, instead of 5% and 2.5% (which comes with 5% Energy/Negative Defense). Now, personally, for me, if the set gives a Purple Level Damage Proc, I'm okay with the proc. I'm not sure I find the +3 Fury Proc all that useful and I'm not sure how good the End/Regen Proc helps me, but I figure it's helping my End on a Regen 😛
  2. Agree. The epics suck. They don't even fill needs. Where's an Epic with Physical Perfection, Focused Accuracy and Superior Conditioning? ATOs do suck. Proc's are meh. Just go with Purple Level Damage Procs. It's a DPS AT. Also, 5% Range Defense instead of 2.5% please. I was thinking on the Inherent. Let the bar build and build, and then one can click it (like Domination) and get +50% Crit. Keep the 5% -Resist that all Sent's can stack. Or one could tie it to the click. Either or really. I wouldn't know how long to keep the Crit Buff active or whether it should be permable like Domination is. Was? No idea if it was changed in HC.

I'd probably keep the Toggle costs down. I know Hibernate is close to Time Phase, and that ability is last in line on Ice Armor, but it's basically a Phase Shift clone with +Rec but available later than Phase Shift is. A Defense + Regen style Armor Set. One would have to build for End Reduction and Recovery and I'd keep the Defense Debuff Resist low or none at all, allowing the -To-Hit to cover that.
  4. While one could just as easily use one of the existing defense sets and call it Time related, I'd love to see a Defense set that uses Time Manipulation as a template. A nice mixture of Defense, -to-hit (which would likely give it little or no Defense Debuff Resist), I'd mix in Regen toggle and a clickie heal, a Revive, S/L Passive, Regen Passive, and a +To-Hit Ability, though it could be tied to one of the passives and then give it's tier 9 the same treatment that Time Manipulation has, possibly at lower numbers. I'd also make it so one of the passives always put them under Time Manipulation Accelerated condition.
  5. A bar away from level 47 on my Em/Regen Brute. IOs (attuned) on all but the melee attacks that I plan to have purple or winter sets in. I feel my StJ/Nin Scrapper does more damage, but being a Scrapper, I do feel that's how it should be. However, plenty of Brutes do Scrapper level. EM needs to be ported to Scrappers, and maybe then they'll actually look it over, but it's slowness on it's two attacks, don't only hurt when on teams but it hurt me in getting my clicks off on Regen 😛
  6. True. It however, was still not well known, regardless of you knowing of them. As for the switching of ammo. Been done before in lots of media. Changing up the damage type was also a new novel gimmick.
  7. I highly doubt Dual Pistols was made with Star-Lord in mind. Pistols was released in 2010. GotG film was released in 2014. The comic version was hardly known by anyone, including Marvel Comic fans.
  8. Well, last I recall from live, Dual Pistols came in dead last in terms of DPS. That was with the old Snipe change. I'd say the new snipe change likely continues the trend. Agree with Piercing Rounds always applying the -resist. Maybe that would be the change that actually helps the sets DPS. Though, I may have preferred something different with the ammo types. Keep the DPS the same on them all. Different DoT for the ammos. Lethal, Cold, Toxic, Fire DoTs, with each set giving different secondary effects. Fire w/ -Resist. Ice w/ -Spd/Rch. Toxic w/ -DMG. Lethal w/ KD. Fire ammo would still do more damage due to the -Resist, but with good damage on the other ammo types, could be a better reason to switch ammos based on some enemies who may actually have a weakness to them.

  12. Before the nerfs to Energy Melee, I played a WP/EM Tank. Loved it. Then they gave ET a terrible (imo) animation and it's just long. I wouldn't mind seeing ET return to it's original animation. However, giving ET the Spinning Strike animation (from 2.904 seconds to 1.98 seconds) and TF the Crushing Uppercut animation (from 3.432 seconds to 2.376 seconds) ups the ST DPS of the set, keeps the attacks on longish animation. Then maybe lower both their recharges from 20 seconds each to 18 seconds because seriously, two attacks on a 20 second recharge with long animations is kinda suck. However, the reduce in animation time would be the most important part imo. Lots of "Swoosh! They're already dead!" on teams. Not so bad solo. 😛 They could just speed the TF animation up to 2.376.
  13. Make the enemies pure melee. Use hover. Have capped S/L defense. Got to town. Don't think it would work as well on a defender, as their damage is just low, but I would imagine it would work well on a Blaster.

  15. WP didn't originally have KB resist when in beta. I figured NIN was made by the HC crew, but it's KB resist is very weak (though, being a mostly defense based set, this isn't to bad). Rad, I believe, was going to be a "Purchase to use" set, and those, with the exception of Dual Pistols, tend to perform on the top end.
  16. Kings Row was pretty dead before any of this, back on live. Hollows and Sewers had it pretty empty. People went there for an empty WW. I never use the slash command for the AH myself. 😛 I always just go there. I do the Hollows when I feel like it, but generally DFB. I don't even remember how to earn the Ouro portal. Not even sure I ever earned it through a quest back on live O.O
  17. Well, I can say there's benefits to Integration not enhancing Regeneration Rate. I don't need to slot it. 😛
  18. Well, we can't say they would make all future sets have KB resist, as they could've decided that was a hole for some future set. Though, I feel a few sets could use a tweaking in survival standards, and I'm not sure every set needs an exotic mezz resistance. Though I'm sure some concept reason can be made for them in everything.

  20. While I haven't gotten my PB to 50 yet, I have them slotted in every KB power except the Nuke. My nuke I allow to do the knock back ^_^ The rest of the team can suffer!

  22. Looking at Regen, I thought Resilience could use a +Defense ALL component. MoG get the +Defense ALL. And both get Psy resist added in. I thought Fast Healing could use a +HP component, but that may only be good for Brutes, as I'm pretty sure Dull Pain maxes HP for Stalkers and Scrappers (though, it may mean less use of DP). For sure it could use a high Toxic resist added into it, which I think makes perfect sense for Regeneration, as that's just a very common aspect to Regeneration in comics...TOXIC RESIST! Intergration and Instant Healing I have to wonder why I can't enhance those regen values. I'm not 50 yet on my EM/Regen Brute, but I can say now, I haven't found as survivable as the other secondaries.
  23. However, if you have the slot to spare, you can add a slot to Sprint, put the END RED and Stealth IO from Celerity, and nab an extra 2.25% S/L Resist.

  25. Interrupt enhancements don't shorten anything. With my EM/Regen Brute, I don't feel Whirling Hands needs a reduction in recharge time. Not saying I'd be against it, but my only feelings have been that TF and ET could use shorter animations and faster recharge. Should be repeat though, I don't care for the set to gain a gimmick. I like it for being a ST focused set, that has the disorient on every power (though, I wouldn't be against Bone Smasher also getting a knock down), that gives me a PBAOE attack for some AOE.
