  2. @Galaxy Brain Yes, IOs are widely used and there are few reasons to ignore this fact. Q: Should the game be balanced around IOs? A: Sure why not. At one point we had Training Origin, Dual Origin, and Single Origin enhancements. Then enhancements were diversified and player crafting... things evolved to allow for more variety. Players were rewarded for participating in that variety with some easily attainable benefits. Yes, folks figure out ideal bonuses and setups while variety fades just a little. Would balancing around IOs have an impact? Sure. Maybe that's a good thing. Removing the Rule of 5 might also allow more specialization and variety.. maybe that would be a good thing as well. Identifying areas to address while avoiding the pitfalls of power-creep is challenging stuff. Please don't base these thing on the whims of a heavily manipulated market system. 🙂

  4. 16 Playing at 2/8 should have impact much more so 4/8. Mistakes should have consequences. Tanks could be using taunt on harder targets rather than relying on inherents or punchvokes. Support characters could learn how agro caps work and what spillover means as well as how to manage it. Controllers & Dominators have a place where holds and immobilizes have an impact. I mean seriously, how dumb do mobs have to be? "Let's just keep attacking the big guy we can't hurt while their teammates pick us off" This is just my opinion and may not reflect the wider player base.

  9. This is how it SHOULD work on a single target. I believe the current version is broken. No way a proc should be more useful than a power pick.
  10. The market is actually pretty good. The /ah shortcut is an epic gift to players. Recent tweaks have worked out really well. Fix Bug: Showing correct prices Maybe an overbid/sell alert for an extra decimal place or more. Fix Bug: At or near the infamy cap, claiming all sales should have some error checking to avoid just making the infamy disappear. A 'claim all' option would likely require similar error checking for full inventories. No market in base (just not a fan of this idea). No need to encourage more mass crafting or resource hording.
  11. Hold on.. in Vietnam it is Dong. Trading a handful of Dong to acquire something is just how it works. Dong is simply a medium that can be exchanged for goods and services & is used as a measure of their values on the market. No need to over complicate it.

  13. I see, you're saying Lift and Propel would have fit better in an Assault power set rather than a Control set. While I find a lot of control and utility with knockup and knockback, I get that not everyone does. Would I be okay with those two powers in an Assault set, hell yes! Gravity's problems really lay elsewhere..
  14. take it back.. TAKE IT BACK!! Two cool powers that may not have great 'numbers' but are really fun. Also two powers that would benefit from a knock distance = +dam.
  15. To be clear, this is as intended. Add the 61% with the 25% (just right folks) and it is close to a bullseye at 86%. For those who feel it is far too easy, they are correct, and there is only a small portion of the content for them. Still, it is a good bit. Flashbacks open up much of the rest of the game for challenges. Addressing power creep is one way to keep 'too easy' in check. Adding new content is another.. but new content needs to be accessible for all, not just a small percentage. Added difficulty should not have any substantial reward increase, it is just optional.

  17. Hardcore Mode - Should be limited to an optional, don't get defeated model. Not anything more than that. Could be as simple as a badge or a temp power. Challenge Mode options - Waves of endless enemy challenges. Yes, this could totally be abused as endless street sweeping. Re-purposing / Reusing existing content I like the idea of reusing existing content. This is challenging with enemy groups which don't scale all the way to 50. Maybe refreshing some of the stories, linking them together better, or highlighting a story arc similar to TFs now.
  18. I'm okay with these. Maybe there should be a corresponding way to earn them outside of purchase as well.
