  1. But missing's, like, the only way that ET wouldn't hurt the character.
  2. I like it, very Frieza in DBS: Broly
  3. Pretty sure both of these are already the case.
  4. Some powers are buffed, but some powers are nerfed.
  5. Because they literally explained why balance is important in the announcement, and you still come out swinging with the "no nerfs" rhetoric (and made it a double-whammy with the tired old strategy of trying to dictate where development time is spent).
  6. I can't even with how short-sighted comments like these are.
  7. Ooh, is that an asymmetrical Forearm Detail costume option? I like the looks of that! I hope splitting Chest Detail into two separate categories for 2D symbols and 3D geometry is coming, too.

While it's true that Spore Cloud isn't the best, and since it's main debuffs are both to enemies' offenses it's less valuable to a Controller because you can just stop the enemy from attacking in the first place, Spore Cloud still has its uses. It's Nature's only source of -Regen, and -Damage is one of the only debuffs that AVs don't resist almost to nothing just for being AVs. Spore Cloud is a full 1/3rd of Nature's damage mitigation potential.
  9. I'll tell you what. These Lore bosses can have their extra attacks, BUT in exchange the invincible support pets at T4 Radial get to have the attacks that the T3 Partial Radial support pets get. (Banished Pantheon's T3 Partial Radial loses the extra attack it gets, and the T3 Total Radial and T2 Radial support pets have the damage on their debuff nerfed.)
  10. Do these Lore pets actually fall behind the others in DPS tests?
  11. Well the thing about attacks with range, Blasters get plenty of those, too. They used to have several attacks that were only 20-foot range, but those kept getting buffed until they were equal to the other blasts...
  12. Relevant to Blasters? That's a melee attack, Blasters already get those in their secondaries.

  14. Pretty much every Blaster secondary has things you need to be in melee range to use. If you really want to be pure ranged, you might be better off with a Corruptor or Sentinel instead.
  15. They must be going to my main character, who instantly gets 10 coupons every time I log out in Wentworth’s.
  16. Oh it's not dirt, well then that's okay then No wait, obviously it's not because he's STILL SPREADING SOME MYSTERY CRAP ALL OVER MY GOOD CARPET
  17. My Fly Trap must be absolutely filthy, because every time I cast a buff on him, a whole mess of dirt falls off his body. My secondary is Nature, and it happens if I hit him with Regrowth, Rebirth, Wild Growth, or Wild Bastion (I'm not high enough to take Overgrowth yet). But only if he's standing still, not if I cast on him while he's moving.
  18. Sets like Dual Blades, Katana, and Broadsword are neat and all, but none of them quite have the same je ne sais quois of a hero like Leonardo of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, or Lion-O of the Thundercats. This new set, Heroic Blade, however, should fill that void! This is a weapon set that allows any weapon from Katana, Dual Blades, and Broadsword to be used. T1: Pommel Strike You strike your enemy with the pommel of your sword, dealing minor smashing damage with a small chance to disorient. T2: Knee Attack A quick blow with your knee, dealing moderate smashing damage. T3: Tackle You bull rush your opponents, dealing moderate damage and knockdown in a cone in front of you. Stalkers lose this for Assassin's Strike. T4: Build Up This is Build Up. T5: Whirling Kick You plant your sword in the ground, using it as an anchor to spin yourself in a circle, striking all nearby enemies in a PBAoE with a kick attack, dealing high smashing damage and a chance for knockdown. T6: Taunt/Confront/Placate This is Taunt/Confront/Placate T7: Bisect With a mighty blow of your sword, you deal extreme lethal damage to a single robotic enemy. Non-robotic enemies cannot be targeted by this attack. T8: Feint Attack With a quick swing of your sword, you make a very obvious, telegraphed attack that the opponent will easily duck under... leaving them perfectly exposed to a devastating kick! Deals high smashing damage, knockdown, and chance to stun. T9: Vault Kick Using your sword like a vaulter's pole, you launch yourself forward with a mighty kick, dealing extreme smashing damage and knockdown to your target. This attack is so powerful, it can actually extend through your target to hit multiple enemies.
  19. Sound mods are pretty easy. The game uses the .ogg format for its sound effects, which is a pretty common format. Any software that can save sound files as .ogg can be used to make the modded sound, then it's just a matter of finding out the right name for the sound effect you want to replace. Audacity is a popular free program for making the files.
  20. At some point the player has to be willing to take some responsibility for ensuring they don't make the wrong choice. The tools are already there for them to find out for themselves what powers are gonna look like, and you can see every incarnate power for every slot in the tailor as soon as you've crafted a single t1 for that slot.
  21. Yeah, this sounds like a lot of work to implement something that we can already do.
  22. Because Power Burst in Energy Blast has a long-ish activation time, the devs at Paragon Studios tried to give it a buff. They reduced the power's Root time, the amount of time your character is unable to move, to be less than the power's Cast time. This means you can move shortly after activating the power, even though you still can't use a different power until Power Burst is done. This basically ruined the power aesthetically. If your target is significantly higher or lower than your character, you'll stop actually aiming at the target almost immediately and shoot straight ahead instead of in the direction of your target. If you move the camera around, perhaps to look for other threats or to try to see how cool you look, your character will spin around with the camera, again not aiming at the actual target. And if your character is currently affected by the stance bug, they won't even finish the animation properly, they'll instead just revert to the neutral stance a quarter of the way through the animation, shooting the blasts out of their belly. The same thing happens if you actually take advantage of the low root time and move before the power is finished; you stop the attack animation and shoot the blasts out of your stomach. I'm gonna be frank, I absolutely hate this. I loved my hovering Energy Blaster, but this glitchy, amateurish-looking power is ruining my enjoyment of playing him. I'd much rather the root time be returned to match the cast time so this animation ugliness doesn't happen, and Power Burst be given something else to make up for the long activation time. Maybe a higher damage scale than the recharge would normally allow, or splitting the knockback chance into a guaranteed chance for knockdown and a % chance for the rest of the knockback mag to turn it into actual knockback, or both. Energy Blast as a set could use more attention than just this, but this power is the biggest issue for me, personally. It's killing me that such an iconic staple of superhero powers has one of its lynchpin powers looking like a broken, glitchy mess.
