  1. It was tongue in cheek. Thing is, this has been requested before. If memory serves me correctly, nobody had any issues with this being a possible future add on. So not much needs to be said about it or even backed up, since most already agree this could be a very useful add-on at some point in the future. There, that should be more useful to ya. 🙂

  3. The procs for a lot of the Frozen themed IOs goes well with Ice Tanks as well. You can throw the Immob in Frost and the Hold in Frozen Fists, and double stack a hold on Bosses with it. The Immob goes great with Frost as it not only gives a nice effect, but holds them in place as well. Put a Knock Down IO in Frozen Aura and it's like Foot Stomp, but much frostier. 🙂

  5. Fun factor, Ice/Ice is the absolute most fun Tank to play in game IMO. You picked a damn good choice there. If you love the theme of Ice, they did a damn good job utilizing that theme and you'll have a hell of a lot of fun. Good choice, Socks10.

I am sure a lot fo you won't agree, but I found those sound effects to be very iconic with the Peace Bringer....and I am a wee bit ashamed to say, I have pretty much shelved my Peace Bringer because it honestly just doesn't have that seem feeling anymore since they removed the Hum sound effect from the powers. Every time a sound effect in this game gets removed, it stings a bit more and a bit more and over the course of the past 16 years, those bits of stings has added up to a gigantic Klingon Gorch. I would like to formally request that we have an option placed for those of us who loved those sound effects to turn them on, on our side. Nobody else has to hear it but those who chose the option. Really, IMO there has been enough nerfs to sound effects over the years. I personally believe any further sound effect nerfs should be in the form of an option. We can't keep forcing sound effect nerfs on all players every time somebody has a problem with a sound effect...logically, however difficulty being probable, can we please get this sound effect back as an option and make all future sound effect nerfs options as well? Thank you. P.S. If you do not know what a Klingon Gorch is, then by all means, the video below should help you understand.
  9. That is one great Tank, no matter if you pick an Epic or not. Good pick, man.
  10. Ice/Ice all the way for me. There just is no other Tank combo that I have found as fun as that. My Ice/Ice Tank is built as tough as you can make one, by far not the toughest Tank on the market, but he was fun from level 1 all the way to 50 and beyond, and even though I know he is not always the best Tank for the job, he surpasses all other Tanks on the market in terms of fun.
  11. With the lack of defense, you're going to really feel those hits. With only 17% Defense to Energy, any attack that drains endurance is going to cripple you. If Unstoppable is something you want (I admit, I took it as well for no reason other than nostalgia, but since my build was so good, I kept it because honestly, I didn't need any other abilities.) this includes Unstoppable and is pretty much one of the toughest Tank build you'll find around.   15. The new rule states, Video Policy "Whilst Homecoming is still undergoing efforts to become a legitimate operation, live broadcasts or uploads of gameplay footage are not permitted." I have been known to sometimes record bugs and post them up in the bug report section. Are things like this still permitted or is that going to be frowned upon at this time? There was a new bug I found, but did not want to record until I found this information out. Also, I thought about recording two powers blended together in order to put a new animation idea up on the suggestion forums. Obviously if question A is no, then I know the answer to this question as well, however, if the answer is yes, then I think this one rides a thin blue line. So would also like to know if this would be permitted as well. Thanks in advanced.
  16. I'm glad it was a great QoL change or you. However, I also play with headphones and what was noise or you was music for me. I'm just saying I wish they had made it an option instead of outright getting rid of them. One thing I like about single player games, you get what you get. There are no forums to get things changed. You take the game as it is or you play another game. MMO's on the other hand, things players love can always be at risk of being removed if enough people find something about that game troublesome. Which is why I will ALWAYS prefer options over outright changes when it comes to things like this. I was not always understanding, I used to view people who got these changes put in place as the enemy. Over time I learned to be a bit more understanding. However, I will never be for a QoL change like this unless it is made an option, simply because I do not believe one person's dislike for something should trump another persons love for it if it can at all be prevented and made an option. I think these sound effects could have been made an option, it's just the OG Devs didn't give a shit enough about the people who loved those sounds to take the extra time to make them options. I'm really hoping these Devs are going to treat these things differently. If we lose enough sounds that I love, well...there are other servers to play on. I would really hate to switch servers over a sound effect, but it is an option for me...and as I said earlier, I love me some options. 😄
  17. I surely would not complain if they shaved some of the time off of it. I have been seeing a lot of talk about it here and there and it seems there are a lot of players hoping for this very change. I suppose we will be finding out soon enough.
  18. I am sooo looking forward to it. Especially if they change ET's animation. I don't care what animation it changes to so long as they get rid of *that* animation, but I'll play it nonetheless. 🙂
  19. It's not the balance really, it's just *that* animation. They can nerf the damage, they cane make the power take longer to animate, that is of little concern to me, it's the animation and the way it looks that just kills it for me. I wouldn't really argue with balance, I leave that to the Devs...I just really hate that particular animation, heh.
  20. I'm not going to knock your opinion, I agree with it for the most part. I just absolutely hate the animation of ET's current design. That animation just looks....constipated to me, I can't get passed it, lol.

  22. Honestly though, if they swapped the animation with Stun, I could absolutely be okay with that. My main gripe is the animation itself, not how long the power takes to animate. So with that said, if they gave Stun ET's current animation and gave ET Stun's current animation, I would absolutely be happy with that.
