Suggestion: add three more tabs of enhancements.
Razor Cure replied to Sovera's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
As opposed to actually giving us enough slots to fit ALL the enhancements, and not needing to buy unslotters or respec a 2nd time? Also, what happened to being able to 'sell all' when a respec finishes? It does not even let you sell basic SO's now. Also also..I may be wrong, but I am sure I recall 10 enhancement tabs on Live? -
Change Sidekick to level rather than level-1
Razor Cure replied to BelleSorciere's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Being considerate, or basically 'letting' those SK'd people leech more xp? Sure, in many cases, the sk'd people may only be a few levels below the leader, and have plenty of powers/slots to make them useful. But in a lot of other cases, the sk'd people are like sub20, and borderline useless (aside from things like auto hit buffs/debuffs) and really contribute very little to the team. Naturally some people think that is totally fine, and say so when recruiting for a team (PI papers lfm, any level welcome). In other teams though, especially Maria's AV arc, I have seen a stack of lowbies join..and THEY are usually the ones moaning that the team is 'only' set +2 to teh leader. One particular team, a level 18 rad fender joined. He literally did jack all but spam Irradiate, and talk about how well we were steamrolling, and how +4 would be way better. This when the team totally was NOT steamrolling, and taking about 5 mins+ per mob. I suggested he might try actually using his debuffs to make it faster, and of course he got super offended. I agree with what Greycat said. It's called Sidekick for a reason. Otherwise the name would need to be changed..and its still unneeded change. This! Sadly, a lot of other people have nooo trouble jumping on a team of incarnates and basically doing nothing helpful. Reminds me of an RSF a few nights ago. A lvl 46 tank joins, and brags about being a tank and being able to still help. And she did ok..on a team with 2 darks, and emp and a trap fender (all her, naturally). Then the final mission, she dives into the sig heroes before buffs, and got insta gimped. I fell off my chair laughing. THEN she stays on the team for an STF (in spite of it being the weekly and already having the bonus). That to me is just plain greedy. I like your point about doing a sub max level TF. Ages ago, when ITF was weekly, I did a level 43ish ITF, cause me and my friend were 43. I deliberately advertised for non 50s, and said we wouldnt be running at 50, even if any wanted to join anyway. -
Suggestion - modify the power crash from Tier 9 armor powers
Razor Cure replied to Voltor's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Just needing perma hasten is not that much of a stretch. Quite a few of my toons ended up with perma hasten, when I was not even going all out for recharge at all. Also, LF at 38 means you get to 'use' it at 35. That covers quite a chunk of the game. Moreso considering the kinda people going for perma LF may just play high level stuff, to use those shinies. About the Sleep hole. I did not know that. BUT..having capped resist to all but 2 things kinda makes sleeps mean a lot less. You get slept, the next hit comes in, taking 15% of the damage, and you wake up again. Even if the attack was tox or psi, you would be taking more damage regardless or being slept or not. That is a far, far cry from a WS having no status prot at all, outside of Lobster. The fact that PBs are 4th bottom really has no bearing on perma LF. Actually it kinda suggests the AT, outside of LF, is meh, at best. If 'any' pb player could hit that goal, there would be more. Also, by contrast, what % of melee ATs take their T9, compared to how many PBs do? I bet that is pretty skewed. Which again..tells me that perma LF is basically required. And if a power set requires a T9 godmode to function, its a pretty bad design (ie: stone armour). -
Suggestion - modify the power crash from Tier 9 armor powers
Razor Cure replied to Voltor's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I think that is broken in the other direction. A human form PB is 'meant' (well, at least how I think of it) as a semi blaster with decent resists and healing. It really wasnt meant to be a '100% of the time Lightform resist capped with status protection.' Because having huge resists and status proc IS what dwarf does. Not totally sure Lightform IS perma, but I have seen a few PBs bragging theirs is. (Just checked, it is) Aside from Granite (which has its own huge issues), no other armour set in the game has a perma T9. Well Warshades too, but theirs does not give status prot, and needs to hit targets. So from where I am sitting..the Lightform crash is TOO forgiving (for how good the power is), or it should be changed so it cant be perma'd. I do agree that the t9 crashes from other sets are..well... Looking at the T9s on their own (like Unstop and Elude), they ARE powers that give amazing amounts of survivability. It is only when you look at the rest of what those power sets do, that it is painfully obvious (especially in Eludes case) that the T9 is often doing very little, over and above the other powers. I know there has been threads about tweaking T9 powers on teh forums, so perhaps that will happen down the track. If it does, we could see T9s reduced in isolated power, and actually become worth taking! The devs saw that too some degree, which is why the T9s for shield, wp, rad and bio are all 'less' awesome or a bit different. Sorry to hijack the topic but.. Back to Lightform again..why is it the only perma T9 power, that caps you to all resists bar 2, gives perma status prot to an AT that wasnt designed that way, as well as make every other shield toggle not needing? All that, with very little crash? -
Please increase the number of Carnival mobs in Peregrine
Razor Cure replied to RikOz's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Or just get rid of the bullshit hunt missions full stop. They are very very often tedious, time consuming, super hard (higher level mobs) or zero xp (lower level mobs). One particular one, from mercedes Sheldon. The arc opens at 21, and has 'kill 25 freaks in talos'...which is basically impossible, since the lowest at 24ish. That mission, on a solo squishes, seriously? Likewise, all the hunts in PI are just worthless trash. -
please let touch of fear give Assassin's Focus stacks
Razor Cure replied to scarlet_f's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Would be a good idea, even if it got a lil bit of AoE. -
This is very true. But also quite imbalanced, since as you say..debuffs dont hit you. But for all those people NOT building for def (especially on resist based melees), they get pretty screwed. One of the worse mobs to fight is Longbow, on a resist toon. Get hit with 2 null grenades (-30% resis, or more. and atuo hit) and go splat. Which is also a reason why Resist sets should HAVE a resist-debuff resistance build in. Or from some IO sets.

I like how Scrappers work atm. Especially with the ATOs. That said..stalkers (and thier ATOs) ARE basically better at scrapping (at least getting crits) than actual scrappers.. But how to fix that? Or does it need to be? I think it makes some sense that a ninja AT can get more reliable/on demand crits than an AT that is basically point, run, stab. AN idea though. ST taunt on scrappers are utterly shite. Make them do a small fear/to hit debuff/something effect, AND provide a crit bonus to your next attack, as you psyche yourself up. I still would hardly ever take the taunts..but it would be something, and give scrappers a bit more reliability on critting. Or give each set's major ST attack a +crit chance on the next power, like Eagles Claw. Perhaps less effective.

Updating the Devouring Earth (Lore, Missions)
Razor Cure replied to Greycat's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I'd love to see a visual update for DE at least. All the incarnate DE (and Provost Marchy/MrG arcs) look really cool with the green gooey stuff on them. -
Suggestion: recipe storage bin for bases
Razor Cure replied to Voltor's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I'd much rather a simple Account wide storage pool where ALL your recipes can be stored. Then no matter what toon you were on, you could scroll through everything you own.- 1 reply

Replace Hydra men with tentacles in the DFB trial
Razor Cure replied to Take One's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Oh yes please. Those hydra heads are ugly. Not just because they are monsters, but cause teh mesh and textures are utter shite. Swap em for tentacles (maybe 6?) with less health than the heads and bam! Could then make a badge for killing all tentacles at once etc. -
Better maps for Apex, Tin Mage, Sutter, other late content
Razor Cure replied to Heraclea's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I honestly thought this post was about different INGAME maps for those missions..not the map-map (technically term). As Mac said..most people (I'd say at least 75%) of people know exactly where to go, especially in Apex/TinMage. Those maps are also so small in game..you basically cant get lost. I think both have red indicators when you have to enter a building/sewer, right? Still, better map-maps (see, its catching on!) and waypoints can never hurt..especially on Sutter, which lacks waypoints in a few spots. -
Add a merit reward to Safeguard missions
Razor Cure replied to Take One's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Mayhems deserve rewards WAY before Safeguards. Literally all SG's are..run to the bank, kill a boss+minions..then a whole second mob, thats it. Just rushing to the bank on a mayhem spawns ambushes..which follow you anywhere on the map, and KEEP coming. The lowbie team saying 'Oh cool a mayhem! Lets do it. +2 will be fine, cause we were stomping paper missions,' is very familiar to me. QUickly followed by everyone quitting after multiple trips to jail, breaking out, only for every ambush to be waiting for you. -
P2W temp powers, suggested permanence
Razor Cure replied to TrueBornTyrant's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Shivens ftw. Me and a friend basically duo all the TFs in teh game (bar crazy ones like LG or Kahn etc) and we usually get shviens before hand. Takes less than 5 mins, and makes the AV/Hero fights SO much quicker. I say quicker because we haven't had any trouble versus any of the 'normal' avs, even as a duo. But the shivens just pump out insane damage, especially when buffed (my friend plays a LOT of kins). One Numi tf we did..Sonic/Sonic fender and Thugs/rad MM. We both had shivens, and I got like 8 of the medium +acc/dam inspirations. Jurassic literally died in about 20 seconds, IF that. I have not seen any teams of 8 kill him that fast. lol. Back to the OP..no to perm powers. That would greatly favour those who mostly farm, for which basically any amount of money would be trivial. -
Awesome idea. I was just thinking the same, reading teh OP.
-
The dark and rad nukes are awesome due to their secondary effects, right now. Actually, rad is maybe a bit less so, because the hold is only mag 3 (i think)..so a boss can still fight back. Dark though..its a HUGE to hit debuff, even on a blaster, and basically nothing can hit you after. Ice also has the kb and fear/run away going for it.
-
This. I take CJ on ALL my toons. And till I also get SS (usually between lvl 4-22) I use teh P2W powers. I toggle the p2w ones to run about, THEN turn CJ on..you know..in combat. It is all in the name really. CJ already allows us to literally jump onto the roof of a building. No normal human can do that with a vertical leap. Cj also has the single best and most varied slotting on ANY power in game, with kismets, kb IOs, gamblers, +res IOs, stealth IOs, and run IOs, all useable in a power that never actually needs slots to boost its stats.

Enjoy Kinetic Melee, Introducing "The Force", Force Melee
Razor Cure replied to OmnibusOmnh's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
A pretty cool sounding set. But..I think it just has TOO much? All those different damage types (when most sets have 1, or 2. Does Rad melee have 3?) and secondary effects. ToHit debuffs, stuns, confuses, -rec, - end, immobs! In the same way that TW was OP because it basically did everything (aoe, st, -res and def, and a self def buff)..this just seems too much.- 13 replies

taunt All Scrappers must have Taunt Auras
Razor Cure replied to Purrfekshawn's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
But wasn't rad Armour 'new'? I dont recall it being on Test at the time of the SHutdown (unlike Bio). Also, scrapper sets NOT having a taunt aura would make powers like Invincibility and RttC way less effective, not to mention other sets WANTING baddies close, like Fire Armour or DA, or even Energy Aura. Which is pretty stupid. To just flat out say it will never happen, even in the case of a new powerset that needs/requires/makes sense to have a taunt aura. -
Normalizing Control Attack Power Animation Times
Razor Cure replied to oedipus_tex's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Maybe due to the secondary effects? Ice immbo does slows (at least..I assume so. And if not, Why not?). ALso plant is just smashing damage, so sorta justified? And fire..well..fire always does more damage (mostly). Another thing I have noticed about some control (and dom) sets is a travel time for the power. Well..it 'seems' like a travel time. Perhaps it could be the effect coming right at the very end of the animation? I notice this quite a bit with Char, as you can literally see it cross the space and hit the enemy, whereas things like Dominate are basically click and wham, it lands right away. -
Take an end reducion ALpha, Destiny OR just..you know..have some half decent slotting? And of course, the huge def and res of Granite wont help? Well besides the psi. ALso..what? NOT being able to solo and +4 and 8, vs perhaps the worst 2 mobs for a particular armour to face..means it is weak? Lol@that. Not arguing stone doesnt have major issues, but it definitely (especially on a tank) does not need its mez prot toggle.
-
Point 1 and 2. Wrong. In the case of Stone Armour, wrong. My stone tank does NOT have rooted. Because I get mez prot IN granite, and the extra from rooted is pointless in 99.99% of cases. Sure, extra regen and end drain res..but meh. Does regen really matter when Granite is going? lol 5 and 6. Totally agree.
-
I agree about the traffic at the Oro landing point. Especially when you get those idiots who stand there with Incarnate pets/MM pets/huge flashy powers. It makes it hard to even click the portal again to leave the zone. GOD YES. I have done that so many times. Gone into my base, alt tabbed as it was loading (not a long load at all, but just to do other stuff) then come back, gone to click somewhere..and bam, back through the portal. Even if you just zoned into base a few feet from the blue swirly bit. Similarly..zoning from Team Transported. WHY does it port you in looking away from the very door you are trying to get to? Considering you took the TT, pretty fair to assume you want to go into said mission. Please make us face the door!
