  1. Let's introduce a new 5X XP buff at the P2W vendor. It comes with a few caveats - You can't gain XP from AE content nor while sidekicked. You get no drops, (enhancements, salvage, etc), and no influence/infamy. Would you still use it?

  3. Another thing to consider, (and I think someone already brought it up), is that when you dodge an attack, that's it and it's over with. When you take the damage, even if oyu resisted all the damage, you still suffer any debuffs or other status effects that come with it.

  9. I don't typically play blasters. I had a 50 ice/earth one that I recently respecced to bring her more up to date. I didn't really doo all my homework, and accidentally put 4 slots in both Aim & Build Up. I was planning on putting the Gaussian's in both, but failed to realize I can only have 1 per build. I like the build otherwise, so am not going to spend an entire respec just to move 1 slot, so which of Aim/BU do you suggest I put the Gaussian's in, and what would you recommend for the 4th slot on the other, (I was just gonna do 3 recharge in each, then I'm open for the 4th slot)? Thanks!
  10. I'd love to see them add some sort of "danger room" content for people to (re)learn the ropes - maybe utilize a neutral group like Vanguard or even the various Universities host such resources. Just to be clear, I think this should be distinct from AE...

  12. I'd say your safest bet would be a willpower/broadsword tanker.
  13. Just to be clear, does your laptop have a dedicated GPU or no? If no, then you're not going to get great performance on any game that expects one. In that case, try the -usetexenvcombine launch parameter for a smoother gameplay experience. If it does indeed have a dedicated GPU, then you will need to manually tell windows to use it, due to CoH's age...
  14. Don't underestimate the -range component - it can be very useful. Whether that is worth the power pick, however, is up for debate...
  15. Interesting. So mainly melee, with some ranged and armor powers mixed into the secondary. What would be this ATs schtick? Where do you see the damage scale being? It kind of seems like a more offensively-focused Sentinel, giving up some armor for ranged attacks.
  16. From a functional standpoint, combat jumping and mystic flight give you a LotG mule, immob protection, extra jump height, flight, and teleport... For a little mote flavor and as an "oh sh!t" power, water spout and hibernate could be useful. If you wanted to up your damage and survivability a bit, sleet and frozen armor are quite useful. I don't think +dmg makes sense, but it would be interesting if there was some mechanism by where incoming damage draws from your end pool instead, (at some conversion ratio, like 5-10 HP per 1 end consumed in this way). It could quickly deplete your end bar, but would kind of work as you getting exhausted by having to regen so much or something similar...
  18. That would be a nice way of diversifying what regen has to offer, while keeping with the theme of the set...
  19. I wonder if something like radiation armor's gamma boost could be implemented into fast healing - the lower your health, the greater the +regen bonus it provides. Additionally, what if the lower your health, the more quickly instant healing becomes available...

  21. Make the Scrapper's taunt-like power grant an increased chance of critting against the target, (either a flat amount or based on that enemy's rank), in addition to the taunt and -range effects.
  22. What I would recommend is dual pistols/radiation armor. Dual pistols has some great utility and is a very effective set, IMHO. Radiation armor provides a lot of great performance and survival tools right out of the gate. One thing I could recommend, however, is to go with level 25 or 30 generic invention-origin enhancements - they aren't very expensive, they'll do the job all the way to 50, (and even beyond),, and once slotted, you'll never have to worry about them expiring/turning red...
  23. BTW, that costumes and backstory make me wish we had the actual Sky Raider jetpack as a permanent costume option, (tintable and without needing the temp power).
  24. I find taking the fire or elec APP allows you to expand your abilities a bit by way of heal-other abilities, (doubly so if you're also rad armor). That being said, you aren't quite tough enough and don't have the aggro management tools to be the main tank, lack the full-on support of a defender or corruptor, and may not have the all-out destruction a blaster brings to bear. We're in the unenviable position of being "really good" but not exceptional...
