All this time I was thinking Babs wasn't in there before and was just a poor substitute for States. And I was blaming incarnate stuff for squishies not dying left and right. Now I'm a sad. Yes, please, old LRSF in ouro, i'd run it every time. STF I don't care as much since the actual TF isn't affected. And while we're at it can we make Ms. Liberty not targetable? She's somehow always my closest target no matter where I stand and I have to manually target or rotate to the person I want next.

I've been +5ing all generic IOs, pvps and purples on every build. Because why not. It's the only thing i have to spend my thousands of merits on since I buy all my IOs with cash.

I left it out of my elec/shield build when i switched to stalker from scrapper. Don't miss it in the least. I always found it to be really terrible but took it anyway because it's an AOE. Much happier without it.

I just think it's nice that we're only worried about influence sinks to deal with piles of money from AH or farming addictions instead of the usual hyper inflation reasons for them in game economies.

generally #1 is less advisable since your losses from #2 will almost always be less than the 2-3 million a catalyst will sell for.

i generally do 2915 - the level 49 comic con meteor. I head into the middle, avoiding releasing the "helper" who actually is more of a griefer for afk'ing, pull lore pets, click hybrid and tab out (auto-burn, of course). Generally if i come back in 10-15 the map is either clear or has one mob left trying to walk through the rocks somewhere, occasionally there'll be two. So it only works well as afk for doing other things while you're around to restart. Great for house chores or playing other games or watching something but not a start and forget like you're wanting. I've tried various versions of the cave map but i find that many of the mobs don't get around to you or get behind you when you move up. As far as something you could leave going all day, doubt there are any options, as AE was specifically set up on live to avoid that sort of thing.

because the empy drops from leveling are huge for tier 4'ing everything, so snagging exp where it doesn't add too much time is a plus to me. i'm still only killing the mobs i have to so it only adds 3 or 4 minutes. but basically it's just what i've settled in on as my particular sweet spot. ymmv

i've taken to running the first and third mish on 0/1/no and the second and final on 4/8/with. good mix of speed and xp and you avoid having to chase on the tsoo boss spawn. with difficulty macros it's a quick switch too.

if you're only doing fire farms then go for fire defense (winter IOs and aegis are big sources). if you softcap that and have a reasonable amount of hp/regen you can afk farm 4/8/bosses no problem. you still want to go high recharge though since burn on auto will be your biggest damage dealer. should be builds out the wazoo if you look around a bit.

Resize your window. Maximized or just dragged out to a letterbox look will make it better. You still may not like the new look (I've not decided yet) but it'll work.

They're super streaky, they've always been super streaky. Seem to be WAI to me. If you feel you need more it's pretty trivial to make an afk farmer these days and just reset their map when needed in between missions on a character you're actually playing, or between shows or chores or work or whatever. And since purples aren't bound to the normal recipe drop rules even an SO'd toon could afk farm them.

are you perhaps running a level 49 farm? exemped you won't get enhancements.

You probably got them on either side of the reset time.

If mez is your only issue the defensive amplifier temp power gives 4 points protection to everything including the rare confuse and terrify. Most NPCs usually don't have the ability or sense to stack. If you're high enough for PJ you're looking at a million and a half or thereabouts for an hour but should be well worth it to carry you through the arc. Side effects include +5 defense all and +7.5 resist all.

Do you have them set to AV? I've soloed them on 3 blasters but I leave them on EB and 0/1 for speed sake just because i don't particularly care for the arcs. Can always plow to the bosses so you get help from the various NPCs if you're having trouble. But as to the cheaper temp pets - shivans are easy enough to grab in 5-10 minutes and can be refilled as often as you need.

Iirc on live, purples had a flat drop rate of 1/5000 independent of enemy class. I've not seen if that was changed for HC.

Not sure how successful depending on folks who're too lazy to check prices on crafted vs recipes yet also somehow have giant piles of inf will be as an ongoing strategy, but you do you.

I just ran it and got 10,265,405. Number i had written down for old version was 10,249,401. Prolly some variation mish to mish but not what you're seeing. Do you have patrol exp?

Now recommend Shauna Braun's vigilante arc for marcone kills. Last mish if you have the spawns turned up enough you get half of them just doing what the mission requires. Of course there's no wedding band at the end of the arc but there's also no annoying kill alls with roamers in the arc like Peebles.

If I had to guess it's that player costumes have particle effects like auras, etc. that Brigg wouldn't have included on the original costumes designed for a farm. Maybe lower your graphics settings?

That trial sucked anyway and i wouldn't say it was challenging. Unless remembering which cat was herded where is a challenge.

Ran it again with the graphics turned up. Definitely improves the ground patch stuff. It did nothing to improve the bits that I find more annoying, but helped on that. Only died twice - one the patch warning started just as i hit the button for blackstar (i blame the falling sky, but the satellite also seems to be in on it) and the second I rubberbanded into one just as BM died, which seemed just spiteful since I don't remember having rubberbanded at any point in the last month or so.

That's like voting against smart phones because you used to have a rotary home phone. Pointless wait is pointless. I doubt it's trivial to fix but if it were why would you be against it?

Go buy 8 hours of offensive amplifier for 1k/hour on a level 1. Shouldn't be too pricey on level 10 either.
