  1. Is there a list of best ST DPS for Scrappers, that doesn't include using attacks from the Epics? Trying to stay away from Moonbeam and Zapp.
  2. What? When I run a TF, I'm never at +0. Always +1 minimum. That said, I never form Shadow Shard ones.
  3. And I got that, but you're supporting more with the support set, not the blast set. And you're killing things faster on the team with more damage
  4. It still supports as it still does the -Resist. The real question I would think is, does it improve the soloing of said support character? If you don't solo much, then that Support Set is doing a lot of the supporting anyways.
  5. This was back on live. It wasn't +4, as I was solo and this was back on live. However, +4 on a /WP Scrapper...that's just ouch waiting to happen without Incarnates (as I was going without Incarnate power or inspirations when I did the run solo) because WP does lack strong DDR and the -ToHit Debuff it does have isn't going to cover it that much.
  6. I like the idea of this change. Though, I'm not sure on all the implementation of it. Sonic Attack being more Energy? Makes sense. Energy Melee being more Energy? Could go either way. What about things like Ice Blasts? Does it make sense that it's more cold damage to be hit by an ice ball? Smashing seems to be the real defense type. While Cold Breath would seem to go to Cold Defense.
  7. While you're at it, can we get Dual Pistols: Pistol Attack (Tier 1) to accept Slow Sets.
  8. I'd skip DA on SR and Ninja and possibly WP if you've got the defense up S/L Defense. Made a DB/WP (softcapped S/L Defense) that soloed ITF without Incarnate powers, so lack of DA isn't going to hurt. I do suggest taking WP Tier 9 and knowing when to use it, if you do take WP. It's a power that gets hate, but imo it's not a OMG emergency button, it's a know when to use it button.
  9. For Sentinel's, I'd say you shouldn't skip Suppressive Fire. It's second in terms of DPS to Executioner's Strike (unlike other ATs, where SF is an almost no damage, mez attack) and can slot the purple IO proc from the Hold Set for a big damage boost.
  10. So, just made this combo for a Pirate themed Sentinel (Radiation colored blue for water because hey, why not). What's a good Single Target DPS for Water Blast? Best way to slot Rad Armor? Just go for cap resists?
  11. Yes, they are, but as mentioned there's Gloom for a really great blast too. And I'm not saying turn them into Snipe level Blasts (I wouldn't be opposed) but get them closer to them. Moonbeam is around 154 DPS (in quickform), Zapp is around 156 DPS (in quickform), so getting those Epic Blasts up to say 110 DPS (Gloom Range) range, wouldn't be terrible. Though, this is all taking numbers from Mids (which I thought Moonbeam was a head of Zapp before)...so number could be off.
  12. I'd hate to see Moonbeam and Zapp reduced in damage, so would be nice to see those blasts in the Epics, like Fireball and Laser Beam Eyes, improved in damage to be closer to those ones.

  14. I never understood why I don't see the Terra Volta players go against the wall just a few feet from the entrance. Two Sky Raider group on two sides of the building, ready to be AOE!

I'll put in things such as height, weight, background, ethnicity...however...sexual orientation...that tends to be more in line with ERPers, tho, I'm sure someone will say "I don't do that, but put it in" I'd say they're in the minority. It may even help stop some RPs from taking place. Like "Well, I see their character won't be interested in mine, so won't try hitting on them." Which, in a RP setting, should just do anyways 😜
  16. It is faster, with all the teleporting around one can do, but that speed only works when the team is working together and knows where to go to grab those enemies. However, yes, some go straight to the end and wait. I used to assign out zones to people, but then some just wouldn't go. So now, just hope for the best. 🙂

  18. I like Ninja myself. It lacks defense debuff reduction, but it's a fun set. Played it with multiple primaries and that END Heal just works so well. Never cared for Energy Aura. Personally, I hate it. Can't get into it. Shield is awesome. One thing I found with Bio, is people can play it on Defense a lot more, as the damage may be awesome, but really, outside of AVs, GMs, put it on Defensive and survive more 🙂

  21. Wouldn't even need to use kinetic melee animations. Water Blast has animations that work just fine as melee attack animations, just move where the water effect originates.
  22. I hadn't bothered to see if anyone else had done anything with it yet, but I was thinking, while I still want that Temporal Armor more than anything 😉 I feel a fun control set could be made for Trollers and Doms out of the popular Bio Armor Set.

I generally keep it in Offensive Adaption, yes, but I've switched it up to Defensive Adaption quite a bit, as there are times where I found the extra defense to be more worthwhile than the extra damage. I even wonder at times if I just wouldn't be better off in Defense Adaption unless soloing a hard target.
  25. Soloed ITF back on live with a DB/WP using no inspirations or Incarnates. Zero deaths. It can be a strong build.
