Hey Solarverse, these probably took ages to make., so many thanks! You know what I'm a fan of? Dual Pistols, but not the original or Star Wars SFX.... I've had a go at doing a couple of Gunshot versions. Using this; But I've got to a point where I just can't sync them to the Star Wars sfx because...well... the pew pew on Hail of Bullets makes it is impossible to distinguish one shot from another. So I'm writing to ask for advice on how to go about this? How do you sync them up? Where the devil are the original Piggs? I can't find them anywhere! (or did you, as I suspect, ignore the original sounds and just use super-echoey Star Wars effects because they disguise the need for synchronisation?. The other thing I'm going to perhaps use is a Sword Swoosh fx for the twirling guns, though it looks like I can possibly just copy the ones you put on the Star Wars fx. -
I've often thought that this kind of recycling would be amazing, many thanks for making the thread, Tyrannical, and also to Menelruin for pointing to it!

What a curious problem. I don't have the same error. Mine is this: MissingMethodException Method not found '!!0[] System.Array.Empty()'. ...with an OK box. Upon clicking OK, I get this window: BUT here's a thing... Sometimes my screens go into standby mode, and the fans on my GPU turn to full. I can't do anything because I can't see the screens, BUT I know the computer is still fine because I can still talk to people on teamspeak or whatever. So I press windows key, right arrow, enter and I can do a normal shut down. I've reinstalled windows, so I "know" it's a hardware issue. Dunno what tho. -
Let's just assume the devs made a complicated and beautiful system for gambling and players got fed up with always losing. Now the devs don't have to make the system. Great work everybody, take five. /claps.

I think even the developers dream of pet customisation, if only to shut the players up! Hah! Seriously though, the person who did it on another server is said to have used Costume slots from the Mastermind player and applied those to the pets. I think the devs are reluctant to do this, as it seems a bit of an inelegant bodge.

To expand, it seems pretty obvious that the power system, much as I love it, isn't adequate for full customisation. I acknowledge and respect the fact that it was originally a static system with NO power customisation so I'm delighted to be able to do ANY changes to the powers. But let's be honest, if we were redesigning it, we'd have something vague like Choose Ranged/Melee, Beam or Projectile "ranged beam arm-as--cannon", "ranged beam weapon-based effect", "ranged beam eye", etc Then; "Energy effect beam" "Fire effect beam" "Ice effect beam" "Laser effect beam" etc. ... I don't expect the devs to go this crazy with City of Heroes, it's just my dream for a game that will never be made... *sigh* /wipes a tear.

One of my costumes causes a crash in the character creator. The game crashes when I try to look at the costume. I think it's a clunkery-robot costume with the old one-robot arm, if that helps narrow it down. It may or may not have the crab spider backpack...

I'd love to see options for either ALL swords (fire/ice)/mallet (stone) or NO swords/mallets. But there are many things I'd like to see in terms of power animation options.

I would like a supergroup that did THEMED teams. So instead of "Bring a tanker", it's "Bring a pirate", for example!

Okay, how about ... If character = 50 then add these items to loot pool? I know it's not that simple because they have to consider drop rate and also that changing/adding loot pools could be too difficult, but if drops are the only concern, vet numbers aren't necessary/helpful. -

More Copywrong horseshit. ... but that aside, the other ones sound like they have more urgency about them, as Lines states. You *could* pretend AP is a mad hive of activity as the camera swoops in. That's what I imagine as I listen to the batman audio there. The funky sound you use seems less jarring in these examples. It's approximately the same level in the mix, It's got other sounds around it at the same tempo. -

hmm... maybe I *could* write something... The last time I did it I spent ages doing a 3 act, 5 plot point mission...

Here's an idea. Horde Mode. What's that? You know Matrix2, where Neo is fighting all the Agent Smiths with his drainpipe as if they're nothing? It's that. It's like in D&D when the DM puts a tonne of 1HP mooks on the board. It's the FEEL GOOD mode! It's the mode where there are tonnes of worthless mobs that die in one hit. It's the AoE dream! But they're worth no exp! The whole point is to make heroes feel heroic. Instead of registering damage values, these mobs should just register whether they get hit or not. Any damage at all should kill them. Now, the players *could* ignore them, but here is the twist... they still do damage. You can't afford to ignore them! And in the midst of all of this? Some tough guys, the mobs that would normally be on the mission. Now, if the WHOLE mission is just more and more mobs pouring from pseudo-nowhere like MM pets, that would be bad and would get tiresome pretty quickly (but hey, it's an idea ... ), so I think the mobs should be pre-spawned as normal on mission start.

I love my WP/SS tanker, he does great AoE knock UP (because I slotted for it) with Foot Stomp and the Ascended AoE knockup too.

As someone with not much idea, I'd suspect that anything melee would get completely melted by AoE. Some MMs have solid defensive secondaries (Cold) that can help with defense, but I don't know whether or not that's still the case at end-game.
