ZekeStenzland
Not sure if this is the right venue, but I found a bug in 2.6.0.5 where global recharge bonus is off by +100% in the totals window. When it calculates the recharge time of powers, it uses the off-by-100 value, giving incorrect times. In my case, while I only have +133% recharge, it shows +233%, and calculates the recharge for Call Reinforcements to be just under 4mins (and perma), when in game it’s actually just under 5mins (with about 80% uptime). Derek Icelord
Not seeing that on my end. Did you perchance leave an incarnate power ticked on? Or did you misread that it includes the base of 100% as some things reduce recharge? Where are we going, and why am I in this hand basket? Check out the Unofficial Homecoming Wiki! Do you have Force Feedback: Chance for Recharge in something? Once you slot it the program defaults to adding the +100% recharge as if it were active all the time.

Are you maintaining them by hand? I'm working on a side project (a build designer obviously) and found it REALLY convenient to just copy your json files into my project. But it didn't feel right to do that without asking about it, and should you ever decide to stop maintaining your files I'd have to figure out something else. So, do you mind me copying your json files? Especially if I decide to run ads or something and would thus be making money partially off of your work? Or is the data is just freely available and I haven't found it yet? Mids' Reborn : Hero Designer is Open-Source and Licensed under GPLv3. Aeolius
this is super cool, thanks to everyone who put in the time on it. i was testing it out with my WP/Spines tanker and i couldn't quite get the numbers to line up, so my assumption is that I'm doing something wrong. I've confirmed the same powers with the same slots in both, but the planner always seems a bit higher. I was thinking maybe it was using some kind of average to represent the scaling resistance of the reactive defenses global, but even if I pull that off the planner, the figures are just around 4 higher instead of 7. Caulderone
Things that might cause that. Superior Might of the Tanker toggled on on an attack. Some of the Incarnate powers (Musculature, Reactive Interface) seem to interact with some of the resist powers. Unclick the green button at the end of either of these to toggle it off and see if that matches up then.

Bonesaw
Bug? I was using the old Pine's for a while, then found Mids reborn. I loaded my Brute build in from the Pine's file and all my defense totals are about 6% lower than they are on live and in Pines (minus blessing Telekku, so on live they are really about 9% higher). This knocked some of my defense below softcap and I was fiddling around to fix it until I checked in game and saw I was still comfortably over the caps. I've been relying on Pines to get my characters to defense softcaps so I can't switch to Mids reborn if I can't fix this behavior. I checked and everything is exactly the same. I didn't accidentally unslot the 3% defense IOs, or uncheck the green dot on any of the relevant powers. I can't seem to figure out what went wrong. In case it's helpful, it's a rad/en/mu brute with combat jumping, weave, agility core paragon, and no other relevant incarnates. I though it might not be calculating the non-diminishing portion of agility correctly, but if I unslot it in-game and unckeck it in mids, the number still don't line up. I do not have any relevant temp powers or buffs on live. Upon closer examination, it seems that regardless of what else is checked, all of my defense toggles give higher values in-game than they do in Mids, but roughly match what's in Pines. Caulderone
You might need to try rebuilding it from scratch instead of importing it. Some of the old builds do weird things when opened in the new planner. Something to do with bad, overlapping indexing in the older planner. Tsabrock
I have something I can't figure out: While trying to build out my Mercenary Mastermind, I found that the number of Enhancement Sets the pets can accept is greater than the number of sets Hero Designer can display. For instance, Spec Ops can handle Disorient Sets like Stupefy, but I can't figure out how to slot said enhancement in Hero Designer. So, is this a design limit, or am I just missing something? Caulderone
Looks like that type was just left out, assuming it can be slotted in game. You can add it, though. Options -> Advanced -> Database Editor Main Database Editor -> Mastermind Summons -> Mercenaries -> Spec Ops (double click this, or click Edit at the bottom right) Go to the Invention Set Types Tab, find Stun, click it to add it to the Accepted section above. OK -> Save and Close (wait for re-indexing to finish) -> Close You'll need to reload or start anew and it should now have that option.
Tsabrock
That was it Caulderone, the database was missing the options for them entirely. I went and checked Mercenary's other summons, and found the following: Soldiers, Missing IO Sets: Healing and Knockback. Spec-Ops, Missing IO Sets: Hold, Stun, Immobilize, and Accurate To-Hit Debuff. Commandos and everything else looks alright, although I didn't go through everything with a fine-toothed comb.
Anubys
How do I go about installing this? I have installed homebrew. I have installed Wine. I have installed Winetricks. I have installed Zenity. How in the blue blazes do I tell Winetricks via Zenity GUI (or via terminal) to install the downloaded folder? This is infuriating. I've already tried installing it via Winebottler and its own Wine, but it doesn't like Mid's. What instructions am I missing?

CapnFreedom
I have a bug with my Magic Mastermind Demons/Cold character in the 2.6.0.5 version (and earlier ones too it would seem). Every time I load the build, regardless of what I have slotted into these powers, Summon Demonlings (slotted at lvl 1) + Summon Demons (slotted at lvl 12) + Summon Demon Prince (slotted at lvl 26) always are unselected as power choices. I have had the build saved many many times, and each time, every one of those powers is unselected. It makes it a little rough to remember what I had slotted in the powers (6-slotted each of them btw). I am including my data chunk, if it will help in reproducing the bug. | Copy & Paste this data into Mids' Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1761;831;1662;HEX;| |78DA65945B4F135110C7CFB65BA005A4A5DCEFF74B814A81F8E80DD018A96240401| |F240D2C74E3B65BDAA2128DD1688CD71891C418E3E513F8E0571004DE7DF6414D14| |15218231EA03CE9C19684D1BF8FFA6B3337BFE67F674FD177AB25E1EBEBA4F28CE6| |E23108B8DFA03B1B8160DE9E1719B3F30A98F598510F6DE73BA11088F05B574F856| |9D28191D980E85CCB0B74703E52F7A78B232A9E2E0F4C484B7DB34C6477B4C4804E| |2BA19761D0907B5A8168E7BB70347BF691ADE8188A68D67CAF090A14F06E3B9321E| |D40C2D6246E3B23747A6FAB4C0B8168D05F5486E6F441FF3760775C360EF334560D| |20BFF8F9D823F9967301C4509A08CA15C44B9847219E50ACA3594EB2837506EA2D8| |C447D04655A82BCC771621CA5591F69EB90EF4A922639368346FAFBB651136ABAC6| |9B4322DC410D4288AAC51957C45F659F298858AACC928205615116B60FA56EAB158| |5B84ACAD6636339F38D1B0AC11B66ACAD9A12F9DD74ADFB052DF1AF307D1F387D66| |E3B4AFE4CF067A71E9B9DFD39D89FE337F5387F12AB3699BF884FC143A6F490BDC7| |053A85538CA24CA3C4516650CEA3DC41B98B720FE53ECA0394399459F9043207557| |9E7AC21E60871D729E6866047C446D871364F21DB43B908EC288772B69C55725AFB| |8DF995F99958F785D8BC427C062E5CDCEB9AA75CEE02F30DB16091B944AC58264EC| |1BA6E9AA4D5CD93CC7332DDC48A0EAAAD07DFF9EC3B3F8B4E930B7285FCD40BB9BF| |88FB8BB8FF39F82B967D691338B049141DE52C8A8162A284E4388BF7D2AD4BF6330| |F10CBBA992769AC15C3C4286CA1940F7469098DB3AEE57FE682CD72B229CAF9E0BD| |80D52A793B959C8BC1BD6A28A7D47CA26D377C20C6E15A3D5D53EB6F8117373CCAD| |B44CF23F2D6FA90D83647EC83359AB8A76989C6D1BC40F42CF2A15E26FAE689C7A0| |A78547DAC2236DE591B6F248FD50E3E51F80D747B9DD1DCC4E6617DF978F8D8F8FD| |171E86DE77DB7B3EF3275E7A5007FF0119E944C7B4AC69792E94CC974A564FA9233| |765ADF8F39DACF56BFCA215C574AF925019EAD94DB5A75ECBC9C84524BD7D792734| |38A7C117E4FCE3551DD7A22675178EF0DB3CC2AAA39E190CEE45AC349F148527C3A| |29FE5B006DEC3D272F11BF7527E2571873FDEB9A44FC0F654F13D3| |-------------------------------------------------------------------| Thanks for all you do.
