It’s true that the thugs are rough around the edges, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be good people underneath. Otherwise maybe think of something your hero would use to coerce them. Although that can quickly descend into villainy if you are t careful. (I have another thugs MM called Casino Gold, and yes he is super rich and pays them). Both characters are more vigilantes, taking the law into their own hands. Retired, October 2022. Thugs are Kotter/De Labarre, Arsonist is Horshack, Enforcers are Epstein/Washington and the Bruiser is Barbarino. I've been using the Pacific Rim, Jaeger name generator to make names for some other pets. It will come up with names like Tango Gypsy, Stellar Enigma, Rattler Horizon etc. Pretty unique names. A Rich Girl who bought her own gang and some "Hot Gloves" and is trying to be a social media influencer by stopping crimes (my Thugs/Thermal) I also have a more Anti-Hero with a Thugs/Poison who was experimented/created by the Crey Corp and escaped to be found a local gang who now are trying to take down Crey by any means necessary. One MM was a Thugs/Storm character where the "hero" was a pornstar with a NSFW name. The thugs were her bodyguards to keep away fans. There was an entire backstory around the name, powers, and the thugs. It was just so... "chef's kiss'. The player was hilarious af to talk with. Most notably, I was changed when I gained the ability to manipulate electricity (EA) and the rest of the boys were just pissed off so we've hit the streets for some pay back. She's a girl from the hood who became a social worker, but she realized that sometimes a person's got to get violent to protect others from violence. Had a concept for a Thugs/Time Praetorian MM as an investigative reporter. The catch was that she's getting odd leads by being able to unexpectedly pull echoes of the nearby neighborhood street thugs... from a completely unspecified related point in an unspecified timeline. Which, obviously, can turn up very interesting information, just as completely bogus and irrelevant one. Idea would then simply be local [some time] thugs help out with the local [now] trouble. Being random characters they would purposely have no assigned names - so i was going to set up a chain of rotating binds to randomly rename them with a keypress (already using a similar system for another MM and orders interactions)...
