And all of the above would need to be done with an open mind from the current veteran PvP community to be successful. I have no interest in PvP anymore if it’s going to be the veteran way or the highway. I actually like the PvP engine in this game, but the tiny Indomitable community with a very narrow agenda has pretty much refused to grow. -

So what? Unless example #1 also uses pointy hoods and little holes for eyes in a convincing way that makes the whole thing look like one garment, I see nothing wrong here.

Sure, but you only see notes you’ve made yourself. This might create situations where players are judged before you’ve ever played with them. Not that any of this goes beyond hypothetical since the idea of XP debt not getting worked off isn’t exactly functional.

I’m not sure I like the implication here. Making it viewable by others could make it into some kind of unofficial player rating. You’d have people kicking teammates over this kind of stuff, even though experience doesn’t necessarily equate to not dying.

Sorry, I don’t support debt becoming any more trivial than it already has become. It’s a complete joke compared to what it used to be and doesn’t deter defeats in the slightest anymore. I actually prefer to play aggressively and risk defeat than play cautiously because debt is gone in seconds nowadays and if you’re in a team it’s usually safe to pop a wakie/bf/blue and speed away.

I have two of my Gravity controllers that both have 4-5 Sorcery powers and the teleport pool, so that they can teleport a shielded flaming vacuum Singularity into the middle of every mob. Between those things and Hasten you’ve got little room left for defense and LotG’s so I guess that’s about as weird as it gets vs the meta.. One of those two has Fold Space so between porting my Singy around and Wormhole + Fold Space... well I certainly never have a moment where I can’t jerk mobs around. Bit excessive though.

Water will be marginally better at AoE, worse at S/T, and better at mitigation. If you are at all worried about S/T damage though, please add Beam to the list for consideration. Looks like I have a Blaster of every primary except Electric, Ice, Psychic, and Sonic (2 with Beam, 2 with Fire)... have all of the above on Corruptors/Defenders (and half a dozen of those with Ice Blast), but all this Blaster talk makes me want to finish the job 🙂

This would be fine, yeah. I think the biggest gripe you’ll hear from dark/ users will be that dark’s multiple cones are trickier to use well in melee. But this isn’t really a problem. You have plenty of other AoE damage from your secondary and your nuke, and you can jump up before casting your cone to hit everything around you anyway. Tentacles won’t immobilize bosses on their own, correct. I would load up Burn with procs so you can frontload the damage as much as possible so runners aren’t a real problem. Don’t have this combo but do have a Fire^3 blaster farmer and a Dark/Ice blaster with similar tactics (cones at the beginning but otherwise get AoE from Frozen Aura and Blackstar. Tons of S/T damage and respectable mitigation too). I would skip Combustion.

Evasive Maneuvers speed suppression on Hover

I would be completely ok with moving the extra speed to fly as long as the result with all three toggles is the same. I can imagine people that actually like running Hover without Fly won’t be down with that either. What if Walk could be toggled on in flight and would bottom out your flight speed too? -

Oh nothing special. Just something about a supposed superhero waving a rusty chainsaw in the air while revving it like a lawn mower and 17 baddies going through the terrorized animation over it.. smidge more comical than most of the powers we have. And yet less ridiculous than the Staff PBAoE breakdance attack all the same. -
Yep, KB is a minor annoyance at worst. If it’s actually holding you back in a serious way... the problem ain’t KB.

I don’t think it’s a bad thing that powers aren’t all equally capable of slotting 6 procs. A variety of good-for-procs and bad-for-procs powers makes the proc meta interesting. Oh and Fire Blast being weak for procs is a good thing. It needs something to tone it down a notch.

I don’t totally understand the complaints about control so may be misstating them. I assume one of the gripes about the endgame is about AV’s/GM’s experiencing damage and debuffs (albeit resisting them) but being mostly immune to controls. I don’t know exactly how you solve that problem. I totally agree that control is awesome outside of a few scenarios where it is severely limited. Plant control is kind of insane.

Doms do plenty of damage. They need to give controls a couple of minor tweaks since the consensus is they lose a little more usefulness than everything else in the endgame, but that’s all Doms need.
