Another round of formatting done.   Are there any other guides posted in the last month other than what has been suggested and the WIP Sentinel Project* that are worthy of including?

 

*I included it mostly to call attention to the project, Sentinels need guide love.

It's a work in progress, but the details in the Proc Information Guide would go into combat mechanics. I also have a Time Manipulation Guide which is a powerset guide (speaks to all ATs: Defender, Corruptor, Controller, Masterminds)

I'd still like to find people to administer AT specific indexes.  While the number of AT guides is low right now, it could easily balloon.  It would be nice to have those nice and tidy in their own threads with other people updating them so I can focus on keeping up with everything else.  Having specialists archive for the ATs might also be useful for encouraging updating or at least exporting old guides off the web archive.  Many are plenty good, but the stored state is sluggish enough I don't want to directly link to them.

Though if there are only a few interested we could take a different tactic and group ATs.  On thread for the melees, one for support, one for EATs, one for ranged.  Or some other organization. 🤷‍♂️

Sorry, but those are just placeholder headers, no new guides have been submitted.  You can find the same section with the old material in the pre-shutdown Guide to Guides that this one's formatting is based on.  Plenty of game world linked articles there.  Or over on the Paragon Wiki.

I've long been idly wondering about the interest there might be for a detailed guide showing exactly where to easily find (lots of) specific enemies required for Defeat badges. For instance, the Infiltrator badge, awarded for defeating 200 Paragon Protectors. There is a spot in Eden, along the northwest edge of the forest occupying the middle third of the map. Many groups of Crey can be found there, like 8-12 in a group, almost all with a Protector, mostly with 2, some with 3, rarely I've seen 4 in a group. A few minutes of hunting and you're done very quickly. I forget what level they are, but their entry in such a guide would include that and other relevant/helpful details.

 

I have a few more like this that I've come across or been shown, and would solicit further entries, ideally for all of the Defeat badges, Hero and Villain and Praetorian. Would any of you find such a guide useful?

I guess I idly wondered for too long, and did far too little research on the subject. It seems @Jaack beat me to the punch, and months ago. Not to mention, it's obvious to me that his guide comes from a breadth of knowledge that I just don't have. Good work, @Jaack !

I was wondering if a guide to "Staple" set IOs exists for Frankenslotting and mule powers. Stuff like LotG Global Rech Speed and Steadfast Protection Res/Def 3% and such.  I'm still painfully new to sets and builds and remembering all those is quite a challenge!

 

I have looked on the first few pages and I haven't found one.
