  1. Just so I could comment in this thread I rolled a water/elec blapper, now at 41, and kitted him with everything. Absolutely dumps out obscene AoE. In fact, last night I was facerolling freaksshow +4's for the team, taking the alpha, and wiping most of the group with MY alpha. Needless to say I was a one-toon wrecking crew and the team was quite surprised. Water/elec is the bee's knees.
  2. Not to mention the massive debuff it lays down on an AV
  3. 30 second interrupt able cast time, 1 hour cool down, 12 foot range, then I'd yes vote. Otherwise, sorry 😐
  4. @UltraAlt Vahzilok are much harder at those levels. Their damage is toxic, horridly effective. Between the corpse bombs, the Dot, rez and eidolon debuffs.... They earned their reputation for sure. And they used to be worse...
  5. Nerfing Regen.
  6. I can confirm the original theme and while there were no direct analogs, as they wanted it to be different, the following was the intent, - MM original role was the "tank" equivalent in CoV, in that it was a meat shield - The brute was the "analog" of scrap, melee tough with damage - Stalkers were melee squishies, like a blaster was ranged, but were single target focused where blasties are mixed aoe and st - Corruptor was a reverse defender, with an offense mechanic - Doms were in the vein of controllers, more damage and intermittently more control (that is, until containment made controllers and Doms equivilant, generally) - veats were squiddy 2.0 redux 😂 This was all discussed on live, thank God it all changed, as in actual play, none of this panned out and brutes were recognized as tankish. Jack's "vision" was clearly foggy. Now, you can be skeptical, but, it was discussed in depth 😄
  7. @Ignatz the Insane As penance, you must now make a regen tank! *Waits* 😂
  8. Let's discuss economics.
  9. True end game is forums. So, your ability to tank eRage is priceless. For everything else there's AtlasCard.
  10. Ah, sorry, no vote. Keep repel, in fact, put it back to the way it used to be.
  11. It's Wednesday tomorrow so... Nerf Regen.
  12. Uh, you can make your own base, they're absolutely free. Then, you have telepads, storage and crafting, private.
  13. Word up. Shred it.
  14. Don't... - Expect to be able to spam all attacks and run multiple toggles at low levels - Expect to spam all your attacks and run multiple toggles when slotting is poor - Ignore tactics and faceroll, expecting end not to crash - Spam all your attacks as a defender with any combination of the above and expect end not to tank I'm not saying you are doing these, I'm saying don't, if you are. Do... - be capricious with your toggles and chain levels 2-30, run em when you need, fire em when you need - slot panacea +end, perf shifter +end in health/stamina - read the forums on the AT and powers for great feedback from users of the same - use mids to see end drain and recovery The game has end as part of it's balance. That said, being lvl 50 super at lvl 1-20 is not going to happen. However, there are many ways to be end happy! Spoken from several storm AT experience.
  15. Did anyone mention that cj protects you from immob? Shrug and probably no vote on making it jump higher. How about rename it to combat mobility?
  16. I'll go you one further, human needs mez protection as a passive power pick, or built into a shield that toggle suppresses, if the end drain while in form can be figured out. Orbiting debt should carry over to dwarf. Raise the damage cap to be in line with other ATs Now, WS is fixed.
  17. The current heal and end on hit is a smoother curve and more reliable as mitigation. Heal on defeat would be peaks and valleys. I would highly prefer, however it's done, the current rate of hp and end return remain a constant, vs a burst. Not that it could or couldn't be on kill, but the amount and distribution of the return should mirror what it is now
  18. And people complain that end game is too easy 🤣 Clearly, they don't visit the shard much
  19. Just mentioning... I'm cool with changes; the only one I no vote is any change to defensive that reduces the incoming healing. It's actually quite good.
  20. Mind/psi and earth/earth Dom here... Perma Dom is great, but the real key to transforming a Dom from back line support to alpha strike monster is io sets. You need to hit 40% ranged and 38+% to typed defenses. My mind Dom is 45 ranged and 41 to all others... Earth Dom is 39-40 to ranged and typed, she has more stuns and KD, so less important. Bottom line, I don't really worry if I accidentally let Perma Dom lapse, because defenses are high. I'm aware of foes who debuff, I am careful in incarnates. Defenses are the key.
  21. @Croax Great guide, very helpful! DB description may need a refresh. For good info on DB, you may want to read the thread here about dual blades and EA... I have posted there about DB and it's damage potential. It is one of the highest DPS for min/maxers ignoring all but 1 combo and not using placate. On top of that it has AoE as well. It does require very high recharge, 165%+, so you may want to indicate DB shines when ignoring combo generally, ignoring placate and needs high recharge but once you have it, DPS is 470+
  22. Not possible and no point. Imminently skippable as well, I hit 59% to all positional without it. That's incarnate soft cap.
  23. Nope. That was easy, right?
  24. Certain mice have software that let you keybind to a button very custom configurations, such as a keypress that has a certain length of time. Like a shirt spacebar press. That's the only way I know of.
  25. Make a /Kin... More damage, same buffage.
